Direct attachment download

Hi. Since phpBB3, the only download method avalaible for attachents is through download.php, that is, the PHP reads the file and sends it to the client. However, I'm using DreamHost, so this way downloads take a lot of time and often the PHP process is killed while downloading. Is there any way I ca...

Thanks again for reviving this mod. Here's another item for the wish list: the ability for users to save entries without posting them (for example, if they get halfway through an entry, they can save it and finish it later). Just publish them with date set to Tomorrow or whenever your want. The ent...

What are the security problems with letting the users enter pure HTML -- even without WYSIWYG editor? ( I'm currently using RTE editor for my phpBB setup ) CSS could destroy my board's theme? str_replace style= javascript could do something bad to users? str_replace javascript: onclick onmouseover e...

Hi! I'm planning into installing The Blog Mod in my board, however, I would like to ask ... Does the Blog Mod support more than one blog per user? I'm planning into doing something more that a user-weblog relation, a project-blog combination, so that each blog was owned by one project team. This wou...

No matter how I set my forum permissions, it seems to completely ignore my settings. Even if I set a forum that is not showing up to completely public it just isn't showing up. The good thing is that the ones that aren't showing up are the special access forums (for mods and such). Maybe you should...

> javispedro : the problem is a little more complicated : you have to link the forums table to get the forum_order value, and to set a range in selection on this between the order of the main forum and the last child forum order read from the $forums->data[] array. You can check what is done in the...

pthirhiik: I would like that the little stats box shown on index.php (within class_stats.php) when forum_id is not empty also count active users browsing current forum's subforums; so I did this little mod: # ------------- # OPEN # ------------- includes/class_stats.php # ------------- # FIND # ----...

I have two related questions
-Is there an easy way to check if a forum_id is subforum of other_forum_id? Does CH mod do this in a place I can see it?
-How can I enhace who is online panel (the one on index.php) so I can view also who is online in the subforum from current forum_id?

Piithrik, I really think you should overwrite the old permissions system instead of adding on a new module. Now I have 2 of every single page, but one does diddly-suat and wastes space. You forgot to do the renames, didn't you? Maybe that's the cause of your problem. Check you are using the old php...

As a temporary fix, you could look for the images that show "you have posted in" and replace them with the original images ;)

Seems to work. What I also did is to fetch forums list by doing the 3 instructions inside if statement. Also, seems new Attach Mod 2.3.11 is a security release. May I urge you to update CH goodies? (I'll be doing some Beyond Compare, but I would like to be a bit sure about what I do). Are there maj...

DO you know one of the entries in Attach Mod Changelog?

I found a trouble. I think you can test it at home. Give a special (like Admins) user group auth_mod_visible permissions on a forum, then browse the forums. It shows "Moderators: Board_admin". It's not translated.
