"view new posts" feature

I was wondering if it was possible to somehow make it so that when a user does not have any new messages the "view new posts" is replaced with a message indicating that there are no new posts.

Re: Russian [RU] Translation

err... this translation is rather odd.

forum("Форум") in half the times is translated as conference("Конференция"). That is messed up.

Re: Copying db from one host to another. please help.

found out what the problem was. The phpbb_search_wordlist is case-sensitive. :!: donno how this works out for english, but in russian "There" and "there" would be two different words. Not really sure if this is the way its supposed to work.

Re: Copying db from one host to another. please help.

Thank you. It helped a lot.

I have one question - what significance has the table phpbb_search_wordlist? is there any way to copy everything without using it? and maybe reproduce it later in some other way?

username censorship

haven't got to test it yet, but i was wondering is there such a thing in phpBB3 as username sensorship. so if you have users register under nickname as "a.porno.com", "b.porno.com", etc. if you you censor te word "*porno*" then they can't register?

hide email, icq, aim, etc. for unregistered users.

didn't find anything relevant, so posted here: hi, on my forum i have user activation enabled, however i've noticed that many bots just scan the site harvesting emails, and icq numbers of those users that chose to display them. I was wondering if there is such a mod or a solution that would hide all...

Someone is getting paid to come and register on my board once in 2-3 days? That is rediculous. PPl like that should be shot on site. The target audience of the forum doesn't even fit for a profile of a person who would go to an mp3 site - its a closed(for private memebers) forum on the theme of acco...

They register by posting the correct strings to board. To get around this take a look at the fight the spam bots thread I have linked in my signature - it's long but time well spent. You could also have a look at this MOD. BTW the bot that registers with the mp3 website (like http://mp3.manus-manum...
