Re: chat or no chat?

Honestly, that has never yet happened to me - at least not without a moderator present and active to actually attend to the report. Then again my users never quite seem to be able to find the report button, so perhaps AmigoJack does have a point  In my experience it depends on what sort of user...

Re: Attendance register

You may want to keep an eye on the Survey extension. It's a work in progress port from a 3.0 mod and still has quite a few bugs, but I have it installed on my forum (I know, it's not recommended to do so) and it does work fine. If I understand your post correctly, it should be able to do what you're...

Re: [BETA] Caramel: Virtual Cash

Really looking forward to this being finished. My board is currently using a badly converted version of the UltimatePoints mod, which has broken some things... I need a proper cash/points mod, and it just doesn't look like there's a proper one out there yet! The owner has dropped development for th...

How can I only let certain groups change styles?

Sorry if this isn't the right section - to be honest I'm a little confused about where this question belongs! On my board - or rather, the board I'm Head Moderator on, the admins are there but hardly active - I want to let only one group (a VIP membership of sorts) be allowed to change the style. Pe...

Re: Can't find something in the code

Ah, after some more trying I discovered that that bit of code is the right bit after all. So I've answered my own question, I think :)

Thanks for the help, Lumpy :)

Re: Can't find something in the code

I think that's just the "mark forums as read" on the board index, though, because if I edit that bit of code it's the only thing that changes. That, and the text is actually different. On the board index it's "Mark forums as read", but on the viewtopic page it's "Markt topic...

Can't find something in the code

Maybe I've just been staring at the code too long, but I cannot for the life of me find something. I'm looking for the "Mark topics as read" and "subscribe" (at least, I think that's what it is in the english version, my forum is dutch) bits. My style is based on the subsilver2 s...

Allowing guests to open topics

Hi, For a school project I have to make a community and we chose to have a phpBB forum as a part of it. Thing is, the community should be completely open, so you don't have to register or login to post or be a part of it. I've set the permissions so that guests can post, but I can't find anything to...
