ok I got that all working with the proper redirect for proper login... is there a way to redirect an incorrect login?

something like ... if login fails... echo incorrect password, try again

i did the <input type="hidden" name="redirect" thing but it just goes to another log in page

ok, so I got that working, but after logging in it goes to the main forum page, I suppose that I need to make a login2.php and change the forwarding url?

also for the "PAGE_INDEX is used in the View Online Page" , I can just add a new location into common.php?

The code you need to utilise the phpBB permission system on external pages is in this article, http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article.php?article_id=143 Change the phpbb root path value to the relative location of the page in question, and you could then basically run any check you wanted (is he a member/...

Checking logged in status

Hi, this may not be the best forum to put this in, if it isnt I am sorry. What I want to do is this. going to be loading a page, that isnt specificly part of phpbb... but, I want to first make it load a quick page that checks if they are logged into phpbb, if not forward them to the login page... so...

Need help unmoderating a moderator

I have this user who WAS a moderator, but isnt anymore, he was removed from the usergroups, his permisions are all set to not moderator, he is a user not an administrator, yet his name still shows in the whose online box with the moderator color, all the other people whove been unmoderated work prop...

tahst because you are setting the groups moderator, as in who controls the group.

go to the admin control panel and click on GROUP PERMISSIONS

its fairly straight forward from there
