Re: Auto Post Topics from external RSS Feed

Got it up and running however it's really buggy. Not all posts in feed are parsed, index.php hangs while it's parsing and a bunch of other issues.

Need a rock solid solution....

Re: [DEV] lastRSS autoposting bot MOD (0.1.4)

Yup I understand. Not a long-term solution but for a workaround... it works :) So.... This might be a bit "ghetto" but, here's what I did which fixed the problem for me. 1 - Copy original index.php file and renamed it feedfetch.php 2 - Remove the following code from index.php file: // lastrss autopo...

autoposting - really slow post times - index.php freezes

Ok, I have everything working 100% finally on my board which has over 800,000 posts. What I'm finding is: 1 - When it's time to update an RSS feed and a user hits index.php root the page just goes blank after about 30-60 seconds. If you hit the page with multiple browsers, the same behavior is exper...

Re: Blank site after install - index.php

Take a look at the Install instructions again and double check the changes you made to the 2 files:
includes/constants.php
index.php

You probably fat fingered the steps in constants.php and entered the index.php changes to both files.
Yup - Fixed

Re: Blank site after install - index.php

I've done all the edits and sql code and now when you goto the root of the site you get a blank page. Looking in my PHP Error Log I'm getting the following message: PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_next_feed_to_post() (previously declared in D:\inetpub\dogs4sale\includes\functions_lastrss_autop...

Re: Auto Post Topics from external RSS Feed

Were you able to just download and install and tweak via the database or did it require additional tweaking?

Auto Post Topics from external RSS Feed

Hey everyone, I would like to recommend a MOD for PHPbb3 which takes an external RSS Feed, parses it and creates a new topic for news item. There is an existing mod for PHPBB2 which works 100% perfectly and i've been using it for over 5 years now. It's called FIND http://www.phpbb.com/community/view...

Ok everyone.......

No more questions! Let SMIX spend him time getting the ACP written instead of helping everyone work AROUND not having the ACP.

Re: [DEV] lastRSS autoposting bot MOD (0.1.1)

Hello, I´m sorry, but I´m really very busy now ... No worries. Are we anxiously awaiting release? Yes :) Is the world going to end if it takes you a few extra months to finish it? No :) Thanks for the great work thus far. Let me know if you want a beta tester prior to full public release :)
