is there any way i can turn it off so they can just post ?

i have uploaded image to my gallery and checked the permissions ( which i thought was the problem ) so i have images in there only little 1s and when i click Edit avatar then it says Local gallery: Display gallery i click the Display gallery and there's nothing there it just says Category: none :cry...
