Re: If on index page

Back up any files before you edit them! To check if you are on the index page: Open index.php and find:     'S_DISPLAY_BIRTHDAY_LIST'    => ($config['load_birthdays']) ? true : false, After add:     'S_INDEX_PAGE'                => true, Then surround your code like this:     <!-- IF S_INDEX_PAGE--...

(http://orioles-nation.com/forums/index.php?hash=d6deaa8a&mark=forums) -- this kind of URL I understand that functions_display.php handles this, and I replaced mine with a fresh one from a new phpBB download. Incorrect URL when trying to view members by first letter

When on my members.php page, if you click on any of the letters to view members by first letter of their username, it gives you the incorrect URL. Instead of a ?, it puts an & sign. Instead of http://orioles-nation.com/forums/memberlist.php ? first_char=f#memberlist it gives me http://orioles-nation...

Post counts and private forums

I would like to create a private forum on my website for only the moderators. However, I do not want posts in this private forum to show up in the moderators' post count. Is this possible?

Yes I did.

The problem was it just wasn't updating for older posts, but new posts do display the full title.

Thanks guys!

Thanks, but I have figured out how to allow replies to be more than 60 characters when posters enter them. However, they do not display the full 65+ characters once posted.

Re: Change response title charachter max

you can change the allowed number of characters for the subject title and/or you could remove the re: part. however, where do you stop? what number of characters do you pick? what if the next post has a subject with even more characters? do you change it all again? I would leave it as is and live w...

You'll notice that "Mark Reynolds: Perhaps Not As Complacent As We Once Thought" is turned into "Re: Mark Reynolds: Perhaps Not As Complacent As We Once Thou"

How do I make sure the full title goes there?

Get Forum ID

I have an RSS image at the top of every forum that I would like to link to the forum.

Sow what code gets me the forum ID?

I need it like this:

http://orioles-nation.com/forums/feed.php?f={FORUM_ID}

Thanks,
Jordan
