Re: ALL my topics have VBS-Malware-Gen worm help

Looks like Avast fixed the problem. If you are still have this problem update your virus definitions.

Thanks to Avast for getting this fixed so quickly. If this was some of the (to remain unnamed) big virus scanner companies we would be waiting weeks.

Re: ALL my topics have VBS-Malware-Gen worm help

I did a little research and it looks like many people are having this same problem. I started occurring after an update to Avast. More than likely a false positive due to an error in the latest Avast definitions update. http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=32895.0 In this post an Avast Administrat...

Re: LiveLeak.com embed mod like the one for YouTube

Try it before you mock it. That will not work unless you want the users to try finding just the video id. The code posted above is so the people can just post the embed code between the liveleak tags. BTW There is nothing "un user friendly" about it. The user still posts the embed tag between the [l...

Re: Anyone gone live with RC1?

I say just use it. The developers can't come out and say that they want everyone to use it live, but in reality once these things get to RC it's pretty safe to use it. Of course you're taking a risk, but any new software is a risk regardless. Heck there were security holes in 2.0 even after years of...

Re: YouTube Mod

A regular user does not know anything about an "embed code". A regular user will post the full youtube URL; that's the BBCode we need. Who doesn't know about the embed code these days? Its not like some hidden gem of youtube, its right there on every youtube video page. I've found that most people ...

This isn't meant for spamming bots as they likely don't follow robots.txt anyway. This is more of a measure to stop the indexing bots from searching parts of the forum that there is no need for them to search.

Re: This is How to Simply Embed ANY Youtube & Google Video

Why is there HTML in the BBCode syntax ? All HTML should be in "HTML replacement" ;) This is very true. Your first post is very wrong. Well the problem is that if you don't put all of that HTML in the BBcode section it wont work. It'll only work as he posted it. Otherwise you need to just input the...

Are you sure that the css tags you're giving the items on your page aren't already used by phpbb? For example, if both your stylesheet and phpbb are using a class called "rightside"

From what I understand that's just not possible with the way bbcodes are setup. It would require a mod.
