Re: Moderator Rank not showing up

So what is the point assigning rank to a group if users of this group do not get this rank? Is it a bug or a feature that users assign to a group do not receive it's rank?

EDIT: Scratch that. I've notice I have to go to the groups forum and set default group.

How to add BB code avialable only for certain group?

Hi. I'm using latest phpBB 3.0.11 on PHP5.

Is there some option to prevent people from using certain BB code but allow them for moderators. For example allow adding flash but only for admins or disable using any custom BB code.

Re: How do I sticky a post?

I think this should also work when you set it up in: Panel -> Permissions tab -> Global group permissions. I'm not sure because I already changed settings for all forums one by one before I noticed this :-).

What about them? HTML was never allowed in sigs, and this MOD doesn't address this issue.

Re: [2.0.17] Classic display of HTML in posts and PMs.

Hi, does it work with 2.0.22? and is there any way use by admin only? It worked with 2.0.21 so I guess it will work with 2.0.22 as there aren't many changes really. As for the second question - I'm not sure what do you mean? The nolink, nofollow is only for bots and when you register you can still ...

Re: Removing users with an SQL statement

Take a look at the file admin/admin_users.php . You'll see the code that's involved when a user is deleted as a lot of tables are affected. 3 Select queries, 4 Update queries and 10 Delete queries. There are several MODs available that allow you to mass delete users the proper way. They'll display ...

Re: [2.0.17] Classic display of HTML in posts and PMs.

Re: Old Phpbb website or this one?

At first I thought that someone has taken over the site after the big crash ;), but I think I'll get used to it. The new banners are great! I really love their simplicity and style.

EDIT: As seems their is some bug - images are at fixed width and I look fatter ;P

As seems they were back after sometime after all. But no need to worry I've added some simple instructions changing: # includes/usercp_register.php # templates/subSilver/profile_add_body.tpl Now spamers are not able to set their website and if they will try they will get a nice error message ;). mmz... search and harvest bots will (probably) not follow the links. this inludes googlebot and the msn/live bot... do you really want that ? Yes because it's only on two pages. next.. there are some bots that visit some pages and read them out to determine your board is a phpbb and then directly h...

Wee it worked :D. Spam bots seem to back out from registering users after about a month. Now only some looser spamers register , but not more then about one in a week (if any).

Haven't been here for a while... April wasn't the best of months I guess. And then I've been working on other projects and on my studies and some other stuff... Anyway since the day still gets only 24 hours from father time ;), and the interest on this MOD is not what I would expect from the first p...
