Hi,

When I clicked on that link, I saw the contents of the install file. That means that PHP is either not installed on your server, or it does not recognize php files. Please ask your host to look into this, as it is a server problem.

Hope this helps :D

I have a question for you. Do you use any JavaScript code, specifically a postamble(); function?

I took a quick look through your HTML output, and that looked a little odd.

Hi,

The autocomplete problem usually only occurs with FireFox. Try using another, or try disabling all auto-complete functions in FireFox settings.

Also, for the mail problem, are the e-mail's in the spam folder. It happens quite often when phpBB sends out e-mail's.

Hope this helps :D

Hi, I can't even get to your forum as it can't connect to the database. However, your issue was caused by running PHP as a CGI module instead of an Apache module. In short, it's to do with how your PHP code is set up, and not phpBB. Your best bet would be to reinstall PHP as an Apache module. There ...

Sorry, but I don't get what's happening. Are users being prompted to download this while browsing your forum? If so, it's possible that your forum was compromised. Find out what pages this is happening on, and see if there was any code that might have been added which would do this. Hope this helps ...

Well, it's not a file that's distributed by phpBB. Have you asked the client what it's for?

No. What I meant was that the folder named in the first post was called install. That folder contains the install files and should be deleted after installation . I was not referring to the main folder, also known as the ROOT folder. If someone has a question, let's answer it, otherwise I see no poi...

Generally, good ideas.

However, for number two, you shouldn't even have the folder on your server in the first place. Once you've installed, delete that folder.

No, that's not a MOD. What people did is rename the phpBB2 folder to forum, then upload it, and install. If you want to do that, go into the ACP, Configuration section, and then in the Script Path field, change the path to the new one. Example. If your forum was located at http://www.domain.tld/phpB...

Hi,

If you want, you can install 2.0.13 now, upgrade later. Both versions will be supported indefinately. Also, I remember AcydBurn (Lead Developer) saying that he was going to provide an upgrade path for his MOD to Olympus.

Hope this helps :D
