After updating my forum to 2.0.22, the forum is suddenly treating my custom topic types as "announce/stickies" and moves them to the top of the forum whether I want them to or not :| The mod itself seems to work fine, it's only this "move every topic with advanced type to the top of the forum" I don...

After upgrading by forums from 2.0.20 to 2.0.21 I'm getting the exact same error as parent poster mentioned, and my images/avatars/gallery/ folder IS set to 777. :|

EDIT:Both my avatars and gallery had to be set to 777. Fixed the issue for me.

I guess I could setup custom icons for a similar effect yeah, but is it possible to restrict certain topic icons to a particular forum and/or a particular group of users?

Custom topic types in phpBB3?

I've been browsing through both the area51 forums and this one for some time now, but have been unable to find anything on this topic (and the search function in the area51 boards seems to be out of order); Is it possible, in phpBB3, to create custom "topic types" similar to Stickys, Announces, etc?...

Doh. You're right, it has to be enabled in the profiles here as well. However, the line where I can enable/disable it just shows up as a colon, like this: : I can still enable/disable it, but there's no actual text describing the option :/ Any way I can automatically enable that option for every user?

Any idea how I could get the forum to send users an e-mail whenever someone enters a new post in their profile guestbooks?

Oh and I also get an error if I try to delete any entries from the guestbooks. DEBUG MODE Line : 1068 File: functions_guestbook.php The lines around line 1068 in functions_guestbook.php shows: function delete() { global $lang; $id = intval($HTTP_GET_VARS['gb_id']); if(empty($id)) { message_die(GENER...

I'm trying to use this mod on my forum, and it SEEMS to work - but none of the text in for instance lang_guestbook.php is showing up. If I change the following in functions_guestbook.php: if(file_exists($phpbb_root_path . "/lang_".$board_config['default_lang'] . "/lang_guestbook.php")){ @include($ph...

*bump* Err.. forgive me for bumping a 1 1/2 year old thread, but... I've been unable to find any way of doing what's being asked for in the original post here myself. Either giving the users a "password" box on the Post Reply page if they're not already logged in, so they can write their username & ...
