It suddenly crossed my mind that - during some kind of spam stress - I might had fooled myself looking up all these IP's via a IP-upon-reg-mod, which stopped working correctly. (Because of update or whatever.)

And indeed.. :(
Sorry for posting so quickly but was urgent. So thanks anyway.

Is banning 127.0.0.1 safe?

On a small board (so this may be a classic) I have found a member with localhost-IP posting spammessages. Found 3 more members which seem not to have used their accounts yet. As I want to prevent more forum-abuse I would like to ban IP 127.0.0.1 though I can imagine this is used within phpBB itself....

Had several problems and I want to uninstall this update now, because I cannot have these problems while rebuilding my site.

Is uninstall-SQL needed?

If that's not possible..

When someone posts in the topic,
I'ld like to see the 'last post info' in the link updated too.

Req: Sticky Links

When you move a topic,
you can leave a link in the original place.

Now here's what I want: Move these links up.
Near the announcements. Above or below doesn't matter.
So I want to make these links Sticky.

Anyone an idea?

Thanks for the advice.
Though it shouldn't matter what way the updates are performed right?

No option besides giving it a try (muuuuuch work :( ) ?

Re: MySQL: Restoring old DB in new install

Is the new board (2.0.15) reset to 2.0.12 when I restore the old database? So yes it will. Thanks for the info. My worries are that the problem is somewhere in the database and I will have the exact same problem updating the db after all the hard work. And what happens with parts of the database th...

There is a redirect mod for. I don't know its name but it exists.. Otherwise you could change the login-template to your needs.

MySQL: Restoring old DB in new install

Ik cannot update my forum anymore. 2.0.12 is it's version but I can't update the database anymore for next phpbb-versions. Reason for it is unknown. Though, that's not a problem. I want to install a fresh board anyway with other mods etc. so.. Now, I want to import that old database in a new install...

The popup is closed, but the opener changes to login.php while I'm still logged in. I'm guessing it has something to do with the session ids, but I don't know exactly. Due to another related problem (other mod), I indeed found out it had to do with the SID's. Tnx for the mod and the support. Works ...

Link

Code: Select all

<a class="genmed" href="{U_TOPIC}" onclick="jump_to();return false;">
..doesn't work for me. The popup is closed, but the opener changes to login.php while I'm still logged in.
Clean phpBB 2.0.14 and several templates.

Has anyone got an idea how this can happen?

With that you mean you want it posted as an CMS-topic?

If this ís a phpBB-CMS, than the CMS and at least phpBB should support posting latest pics dynamically of your album. I've never seen that, but would ask the Album-support about it.
