Re: Accidentally Deleted Cache Folder, Now Getting Fatal Error

Simple solution to these sort of problems.
Anything you accidentally delete you can simply re-upload from the full version on the download page on this site.

Re: Extensions page - ERRORS

Looks like you've deleted them from the server before uninstalling them from phpBB.

Put them back on the server, uninstall and then delete the files.

Re: Can't Login - Can't access ACP Either (Issues after Update to 3.2.7 from 3.2.5)

Actually probably a conversion/upgrade from an earlier version so likely to be using an old appended config.php file where it's still there but yes you're right.

Excellent. Yep it was either blank lines or added lines as the very last thing should be the ?>

Post up the entire contents of that file without your database name/password.

headers already sent by (output started at [ROOT]/config.php:30)
That's an unusual message.

What's at the end of your config.php file on line 30?

Users are reporting that when they open the forum, they are signed in as someone else.
This is very common when the host is using session caching. If they have Varnish or Cloudflare installed it is currently set up incorrectly. The other issues are probably a knock on effect of that too.

Re: Properly setting up a newly registered group

Easy to test.

Make an account, make 7 posts, log out, approve them, check with your admin account if they're in the group, log back in, check again.

Re: Properly setting up a newly registered group

You're correct.

Say I register, make 10 posts and leave.
You approve all 10
I'm still in the newly registered group until I come back to the site and my 'status' is re-assessed and then I will drop out of that group and become a normal user.

Re: Properly setting up a newly registered group

Have they logged in since passing the threshold?

They don't drop out of the group until the log in next time.

Re: Looking for recommendations for a new hosting site

These topics just turn in to spamfests where everyone names the host they already have so, we cannot really recommend a host, but we do recommend that you visit WebHostingTalk.

Most of the big names will get mentioned and you'll find some people who love and hate them in equal measure!

Please upgrade to PHP equal to or greater than 5.4.7 but less than 7.3-dev in order to install or update to phpBB 3.2" Currently have PHP 7.3.6
7.3.6 is higher than 7.3-dev

Just downgrade the php version to 7.2.x and it'll work.

You're going to have to explain that a bit better.

If you mean your site is down for maintenance without notification of that, we haven't done it because we do not look after anyone elses board.

Difficult to know what it is without some information.

Post screenshots of your rank page and a profile of a user with and without a rank.
