Re: Another attachments problem

Unintended bump, but just coming to mention that the problem was attachment.html being 0 bytes. Re-uploaded the file and all works fine on every theme now. 8-)

Re: Another attachments problem

Yay! 8-)

Something so obvious i didn't think to check, but yes - all the attachments show up when using prosilver.

Now to figure out why they aren't working on the custom theme...

Re: Another attachments problem

I see the forum, but you have to login before you can post. Only for every other forum, the Test forum i linked to above you just need to enter a name when you make a new topic/reply. I've got a complicated registration system in order to try protect peoples privacy so don't want to mess with that....

Re: Another attachments problem

You should be able to post as a guest? I logged out and was able to post up a new topic as a guest, no password needed.

Interesting.

Just tried to delete that topic, and all i get is a blank page after i hit delete.

Maybe i need to reinstall the whole blimmen forum again.

Re: Another attachments problem

I don't have any forums publicly viewable unfortunately, but so far i've only tried to get the old attachments to work. Have tried uploading new ones but they don't work either (area where attachment should be is completely blank/empty) so it doesn't seem like a corruption issue, in my view?

Re: Another attachments problem

Purged the cache in the forum at least three times. Have never had to do any other cache purges.

Another attachments problem

Okay, so i have done the suggested patch already, and quadruple checked it (if not more) to make sure i did it right. But still peoples attachments are not showing up (older ones, from the previous 3.0.12 version, not 3.2.2 which i have now). When i go into someone's post who i know had an attachmen...

Username above avatar

Not sure if this would qualify for a extension or just a few file edits, but is there any way to get the username above the avatar in 3.2? I had it that way in 3.0.14 and much prefer it. Also, would like to have the text size of the username increased too. Again, sorry if it's just a matter of movin...

Re: 3.0.12 to 3.2.2, install page comes up just as text

Okay, so it's all up and working now, apart from a few things i've noticed in the side menu of the Admin CP that don't seem to have uploaded or something? Highlighted in red. GENERAL TAB SERVER CONFIGURATION Cookie settings Server settings Security settings Load settings Search settings ACP_SEND_STA...

And predicibly, this keeps coming up; The installer detected a timeout The installer has detected a timeout, you may try to refresh the page, which may lead to data corruption. We suggest that you either increase your timeout settings or try to use the CLI. So far it always stops at this file/point:...

Re: 3.0.12 to 3.2.2, install page comes up just as text

Thanks. R.I.P FTP Commander. With that programme i've spent the last two days (in between sleep, work etc) trying to upload, and download the forum to get it all done in one go without errors. In half an hour with Filezilla (bit of mucking around in between) it's all uploaded and working... I was du...

Re: 3.0.12 to 3.2.2, install page comes up just as text

Ah, true. Noticed it wasn't anywhere in previous backups.

Is there an FTP programme out there that won't keep crashing during uploads, or won't take bloody hours to upload 20+ mb's of forum? This has taken way too long to try upload in one go, it's never had this problem before. :(
