Mass eMail Issue

Ok I have google'd this issue but cannot seem to find a solution. I am trying to mass email 200,000+ users in a group on my phpbb3 forum. I understand that there are some issues b/c of the size, but I don't know what to edit. I am running my forum on a VPS server, and I have full root control (php.i...

A while, about 5 or 6 months. Definitely long enough to get noticed by Google

Re: Registration Agreement "Looping", No One Can Register

Yes, as a matter of fact I do have backups. I aint no fool. What I'm concerned about is the 301 redirects you need to put in place (or it's highly advised by the MOD staff) in order to properly uninstall this mod. Google will penalize my web results if this isn't done properly. Which is why I would ...

Re: Registration Agreement "Looping", No One Can Register

Does turning off those annoying little popup windows help any? Just tried but that's a negative. Your board is setting cookies OK, so it must be the MOD. I suggest you uninstall the SEO MOD - it is unnecessary. This board has NO SEO modifications and it gets indexed almost immediately. Uninstall it...

Registration Agreement "Looping", No One Can Register

Hello All, Whenever somebody tries to register on my board , they visit the /forum/ucp.php?mode=register page. Here, they are asked to agree to the terms just like any other PHPbb board. However, when you click 'Agree', it just seems like the page is refreshed. You need to click the 'Agree' button t...

Re: Sessions Problem?

Thanks, BRF. Sorry for the late reply but I just went and changed what you suggested. Unfortunately all I can do is wait, but I'm hoping the emails will stop.

Thanks again!

Sessions Problem?

Hello, I have a phpbb forum (see sig) that has a custom built portal on the main page where users can download files. Re: Captcha Showing Red X

I'm still getting mass emails regarding this issue. Is it safe to say it's a sessions glitch?

Captcha Showing Red X

Hello, I have a forum that gets about 600 new users a day. Out of that 600 i get about 2-3 emails a day by people claim that they cannot see the captcha at my registration page. Is there a possible solution to this problem? I've asked for their PC specs and they run Vista and XP. Are there any mods ...

Re: Mobile phone browsers cannot 'Agree to these Terms'

Interesting theory.

I went ahead and set both of those to 0. I actually don't even have a mobile phone to test this on, so I can only hope it works.

Thanks :)

Mobile phone browsers cannot 'Agree to these Terms'

I'm using phpBB 3 for my windows mobile site. I get a few emails a day from visitors unable to register when using their mobile phones because they cannot click 'I agree to these terms' button on my register page. I'm assuming they're all phones that use Windows Mobile 5 or 6. Is this browser relate...
