Bot mod?

Looking for a bot mod, where when a post is made in a certain section a reply is automatically posted.

Anyone got some links for me?

Re: I log in successfully, and yet... I'm not logged

Your Board Index link is most likely directing to http://yoursite.com, while you are going to www.yoursite.com.

If you put in a www. where it's not needed, it will effectively take you to a different webpage.

Re: Founder vs Founder

I wouldn't advise making someone a founder. Yes, they could ban/delete you. That has already been confirmed. Please do NOT just repeat answers. Sorry. If you do decided to make them a Founder, make sure you take daily backups of your forum and make sure you know how to install a backup, just in cas...

Re: Links in signatures

Not possible without the use of a modification. What you could do though, is set the default group to no signatures at all, that would mean they have to become a forum sponsor in order to earn the right to use a signature.

Deselect all permissions within the group that you would not like them to be able to perform.

Re: Registration part of a Forum

Their default forum name is what it says there... So the Administrators must have mispelled it in the Administration Panel.

Re: Member wishes for all his posts deleting ?

You do not HAVE to delete their posts, once they are made they are your property, and it does say that somewhere in the default phpBB Terms and Conditions, unless you edited it out by any chance.

Re: Newest post visible to newly registered users

I'm guessing you might have a no or never permission on 'can see forum' but a yes permission on 'can read forum'. You would need to set the newly registered users group to NEVER for the ability to see and read the forum. This is probably right. You should select NEVER for both, or if you want them ...

Although, any members that ticked the box saying 'Do not receive messages from the Administrators' upon registration will not receive the email.

Re: Some fetures in the admin area will not select/submit

Are you sure that you used the correct update package?

Edit by ric323: Please ignore this question, as you obviously did a fresh install, not an update.

Re: Login Page!

What's wrong with the original link?

But yes, it's possible, but you'll have to make the redirects etc.
