Works perfectly! Thanks very much. Looking at it again, I think a more suitable solution for my forum would actually be to prevent "cash per character" for the topic starter (for the first post and their own replies). Other users would still earn cash per character for replying to the thread. It's p...

[REQ] Add-on for Cash mod - no cash for reply to own topic

I mentioned this in the Cash Mod thread but I don't want to bump an already huge thread. I'm looking to create a forum for users to post stories and for other users to receive points for providing feedback. The Cash mod is almost perfect for my needs except for one thing - there's nothing to stop a ...

Great mod - got it working fine on Categories Hierarchy 2.1.1.

Is there any way to prevent the original poster from gaining cash by constantly replying to his own topic (but still allow other users to gain cash for replies)?

Small issue:

When posting an announcement, I choose Announcement Ending Date as "Never Displayed", but it still posts it as an announcement lasting 7 days. I then have to edit the post and choose "Never Displayed" again, and it works fine.

I'm in the UK (along with 99% of my users) and this little mod seems to do the trick. Especially useful since I'm using the Topic Calendar which shows different times if my users forget to update their timezone. One small issue - the time I last logged in is out by an hour. I'm using Categories Hier...

Great! Everything went very smoothly. I was running 2.0.13 with Cat Hier 2.1.0 and attachmod goody. The new topic attribute icons are a great addition. I'm having some trouble with the attachment icon though. I've added the icon to the templates/images folder, and created the attribute as you can se...

I'm upgrading from 2.1.0 to 2.1.1 - should I run the install.php file or can I just make the following changes: #-----[ SQL ]------------------------------------------------- # ALTER TABLE phpbb_topics ADD topic_sub_type MEDIUMINT( 8 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT 0; # #-----[ SQL ]-----------------------------...

I have applied Ptirhiik's fixes and I still see no events in the Calendar drop-down box at the top of the page, nor the month calendar. I'm running 2.0.13 with 3 mods - CH 2.1.0, attachmod goody and IM portal (and Topic Calendar of course) Secondly, when I edit a previous post with a calendar date, ...

Problem-free upgrade. Thanks a lot.

If anyone is using Categories Hierarchy 2.1.0 and getting the message in the ACP saying you still need to upgrade, try clearing your caches. I had this message until I deleted all my dta_* files in the cache folder.

>>Gardi: Like gamble said, download the mod (that's not the devpack, that's the other link above it in the first post). There you'll find a .txt file with install instructions, along with the instructions on how to install goodies such as the attachment mod.

Magnotta>> I had the same problem. In Auths>>Management, you probably have guest access set to "custom". Change it to a preset (e.g. read only), make any changes you need and export the preset. Ptirhiik>> This was mentioned a few pages back - a very small problem. If a group has no users, you can s...

Marauder>> I have IM Portal running with Cat Hier 2.1.0. I have not experienced any problems with it. IM Portal is very easy to install (10 mins) and doesn't alter much code.

deanirw>> I think this is how it is supposed to be. The original permissions system has been replaced. Instead of clicking on ACP>>>Forum Admin>>>Permissions, use the new Auths Center>>>Management I believe that any forums created previous to the devpack install will need to be recreated, and the p...
