Re: [RC] Share On Facebook, Twitter ... 1.0.2

So no ideas as to why it isn't showing up in the drop box for me?

Re: [RC] Share On Facebook, Twitter ... 1.0.2

Further clarification: My acp_shareon.html file is uploaded but it is not showing in the drop box where it lists all the other ones. If I can only get this to show up, I think the rest will work out just fine.

Re: [RC] Share On Facebook, Twitter ... 1.0.2

I'm having a problem with the ACP configuration. It is the part that says: C.8) in the next screen, navigate in the drop down list an find the "Share On MOD" option. Click on "Settings". I don't see this option in the drop box. All my files were edited properly and the steps all went well so far wit...

Re: Server overload. HELP!!!!!

There were 3 people in the inactive users list that I know were previously spammers. We discovered them and deactivated them. I thought we had deleted them but I guess not. They are now. I also saw my anti-spam flagged one new account so I deleted that one as well after researching it.

Re: Server overload. HELP!!!!!

I just checked out that link. Most of the stuff on there appears to be for those who are having a problem with registered spammers. I did do the UTC-12 timezone thing. I also got rid of the Phot Confirmation CAPTCHA and decided to go with the less intensive Q&A style for now. All in all, nothing is ...

Re: Server overload. HELP!!!!!

Yes, this has become a common problem. Bots are attempting to sign in as users by brute-forcing with common passwords. You might want to change to a CAPTCHA which isn't as resource intensive. Read this post for more CAPTCHAs: Preventing Spam in phpBB3 . I might be missing something here. How would ...

Re: Server overload. HELP!!!!!

UPDATE: I sorted the most recent visitors by IP address and came up with the same IP for 10 straight pages. It was coming from 174.34.133.219. There were a few other random ones thrown in as well. I went and blocked them from my .htaccess file. Not sure if it worked yet. I'll have to keep and eye on...

Server overload. HELP!!!!!

I'm running into a severe problem with spam bots. My CAPTCHA is blocking them but it is still taking up all my resources according to my host. They moved me to a VPS temporarily (free of charge for 72 hours) until I can figure this out. If I don't figure it out, my forum of 6 years will be shut down...

Re: A few "post-conversion" problems

1) I haven't had a chance to run this SQL yet. I am also hoping I don't screw anything up as I am no SQL expert. 2) I copied the avatar files over to this folder but nothing changed. People are still missing their avatars. 3) I'll probably just leave it set to 0. Thanks. 4) It is still in the same r...

Re: [Release] X-Treme Style v3.2 (Blue-Red-Green)

Does anybody happen to have buttons for X-treme Light? I've only found them for red, green, and blue. I'm also curious if anybody knows how to make custom buttons. I really need one that says "Library" as well as one that says "Jukebox". Thanks in advance.

Re: [BETA] phpBB Arcade 0.4.5

So this fixed your issue? I am running X-treme Light and I insstalled the prosilver version with the minor editing. It worked but it looked hideous. Google led me to this thread. I'll try it when I get home if it worked out for you. X-Treme Light is in fact subsilver2 based. Alpha Trion from skin-l...
