Re: [BETA] phpBB OpenID ver 0.3.0

Input needed Currently when a new user account is created via OpenID a random password is generated for the user. However, this password is never given to the user. I have 3 possible solutions, neither of which I am 100% satisfied with. PM the user We could send the password as a private message to...

OK so I have a very odd problem that I haven't been able to find the solution to. I have WOM 1.0.1 installed and I receive no errors anywhere on my board or with PMs. The problem is that when I setup a test user it never got a PM. I double checked that WPM was "on" and it was. I tried turing it off...

make sure it's in the public_html folder. Sounds like you may be uploading to the root ftp folder instead.

Or maybe, the folder is named slightly differently. The folder's name is case sensitive so if it's named as phpBB you would view it as: http://www.sumpnutz.com/phpBB/

It's always wise to create backups before upgrade/changing your phpbb installation.

Hmm, What is the URL to your website?

There are 3 ways that come to mind.
1) On older installations version is usually at the bottom of the page if you visit.
2) On newer installations version is found as soon as you log into adminstrater panel.
3) You may find the version in mysql under phpbb_config

Bearcat 780XLT

Sounds like the problem is located on their end. Obviously it works here ;)
Something may be configured wrong or a mod they installed is causing a conflict.

First try renaming http://www.sumsar.com/phpBB/
to
http://www.sumsar.com/phpBB_backup/

Then visit forums to see if everything is working good.
If so, delete
http://www.sumsar.com/phpBB_backup/

Your looking at a forum way bigger then this one. I highly doubt this site passes 3,100 GB's a month.
