looks good. Pretty simple mod I'd say... for the simplest form of this mod, you'd just modify the text box for inputing usernames and make it a textarea... use a explode with ";" which people would put between usernames... add all usernames instead of just one. Of course then it gets harder when you...

I'm not going to use this mod, no matter how tempting, until you add in the Who Uses part. Because I want people to earn the right to use special things on my board. Will this feature be user-group (e.g. Staff Members, VIPs) or permission-set (e.g. Admin, Mod, Registered User, Guest) based? I would ...

Priveledged Post BBCode

Hey, I'm looking for a BBCode that looks like [privelege]Special text[/privelege] or something. If a message is posted inside that BBCode, it will turn into like all *'s instead of letters or maybe [Unauthorized to view message]. Except, if you want someone to be able to view it, you put [privelege=...

Probably bandwidth issues. Animations take up more bandwidth than still images. ;)

I like the spoiler bbcode where you click a button (e.g. "Show Spoiler") and the stuff appears below it, and then you can click the same button (although the text changed to "Hide Spoiler") and it goes away. That's my favorite. *shrug*

But this works too! :)

If I were you, instead of doing this big of a MOD for 2.0 with 3.0B1 already out, I would wait the extra month or two for RC and begin coding for 3.0. But I do applaud you for deciding to do this mod. :D

Yay.

1) This has already been requested.
2) The 3.0 feature list has been locked (a LONG time ago); they aren't going to add new features in at BETA unless they think that feature is too important to leave out!
3) No doubt, there will be mods for 3.0 (and there are for 2.0) when Gold is released! :)

can you please provide more information concerning the matter?

One thing... is there a difference in file extensions (e.g. gif, jpg, png) of the files you can and can't download? *shrug*

Do they have it set for their browser to clear session data and/or cookies when it is closed automatically? Or are they doing it without knowing it will log them out? Just a couple of things that may be wrong. Because I don't see any problem with your settings as they are. *shrug*

Most updates don't require language files to be re-written. Unless you don't have any mods and decide to reupload all the files from the new update. *shrug* But I would just use a patch (which only includes changed files) or the MOD-Type changes! :)

Hey if you use it as your live forum and a converter is made for you, no problem. But we don't want to hear/see ANY ANY ANY support about there being no converter, or the converter doesn't work, or the converter is really a exploit that somehow decrpyts and sends all passwords to some smart guy. Whi...

I don't know... I read somewhere on area51 that admin permissions were strictly for the ACP and you had to give yourself mod permissions for the MCP... something to do with the permissions system. But I'm not the surest about this, so If I were you I'd wait for someone more smarter in this area to p...

You need to give yourself primary admin permission and secondary moderator permissions so you can access the MCP. That's what I've heard!

Why shouldn't we be using it in a live environment? It works as it sits, and as long as mod developers begin work on hacking it up, what's the difference? I can think of several reasons: -The BETA still has bugs... if you aren't skilled PHP and *SQL and you get an error, don't run crying to us beca...
