And a little side note; perhaps it's best to use MX preferences in the order to try hosts; from high priority to low priority. Not only is this more standards (and common use) conformant, it also stops false positives: lower-preference MX's often only check the domain-part of an e-mail address, and...

I have a few questions about this mod: 1) does it send an email to the user that is trying to register (ie will he get an test email from lev)? btw, one last thing I just remembered: with the auth's system, is there a chance you might expand it to include existing admin files, so that we can allow access to certain pages only for groups? That way we could allow mods to have access to banning people, without giving them access to other thin...

This would be "google cheating" - serving different templates for search engine only with keywords, would probably get you google-banned if you do that, or at least your page rank would be way low. Oh and something similar to you has been done by Hater in this topic: http://www.phpbb.com/p...
