Re: [3.2][BETA] Telegram Notifications

Version 0.6.0 causes the following php error when I trying to open the ext settings:

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file [ROOT]/ext/lassik/telegramnotifications/acp/main_module.php on line 50: Undefined variable: u_action
As a result I can't open settings pages with enabled gzip.

Re: Problem with uploading large jpg files after update 3.2.2

Btw, I've created a ticket for that: https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-16056

Originally I created it by cloning another one, that is why you can see incorrect "Fix Version/s" field. I have no permissions to change this field.

Re: Problem with uploading large jpg files after update 3.2.2

I meant not any file, but particular one which I referred before. Because the issue is not based on the file size, but on exif size.

For example, on my forum I'm able to upload 5 mb file, but failed to upload this one, which is 2 mb size only: https://scooterclub.by/tmp/P90505-140230.jpg

Re: Problem with uploading large jpg files after update 3.2.2

i.e. Not an answer to the question you were asking about a better solution for fixing the ability to upload this image, rather than having to edit TypeJpeg.php in order to achieve it. I do not know the answer to that question either. I don't try to locate for another solution, changes in the file t...

Re: Problem with uploading large jpg files after update 3.2.2

No sure how you did it. Right now I tried to upload the file again using different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge), and it fails.

Re: Problem with uploading large jpg files after update 3.2.2

Unfortunately, I also encountering with this kind of error for some jpeg images (created by Meizu mobile). It is reproducible on my 3.2.5, and as I can see it is also reproducible on this forum as well (I can't upload the image into this topic). The solution with editing TypeJpeg.php file works fine...

Unexpected Ctrl+Enter behavior on reply

When I'm pressing Ctrl+Enter on reply (creating new topic, not quick reply) the input data is cleared, page is reloaded and nothing happens. I've encountered with this on my local board, then I tried to install new board from scratch and was able to reproduce. Analyzing Fiddler sessions I found one ...

Re: [Discuss] Preventing Spam in phpBB3

My forum is in Russian, but anyway it is not an obstacle for spammers. As I understood spam bot collects broken answers and send its to fu-ing spam bot creator. They are answered, and next bot release have updated db with correct answers, and spam arrives again... :( Really, I'm too lazy to update m...

Re: [Discuss] Preventing Spam in phpBB3

if you have the right kind of question in your Q&A then bots can't answer it but humans can. That is not true. I've created unique set of questions for my forum, half of year later bots start to register again. Example of my board questions: "The German band "Scooter" for 2012 released 14 albums (w...

Re: [Discuss] Preventing Spam in phpBB3

I find it odd that everyone is freaking out over a huge wave of spam bots. I don't even have spam on my bulletin board. I'm not complaining though. I was just lucky this time. I see amount of empty forums on your board much more than ever registered user. I'm afraid that your message in this ...

Re: [Discuss] Preventing Spam in phpBB3

or you could simply use the built in Q&A with a good question that can not be googled for and you stop all the spam bots. the rest is just moderation duties. I tried to use this solution, moreover about half a year I thought that it is best in the world! :) But... after a time new spam messages sta...

Re: [Discuss] Preventing Spam in phpBB3

I know. :) As per proposed anti-spam solution I'm pretty wondered how qualitative it filters spam registrations and spam messages. Just sometimes I have to monitor mcp for unapproved messages, because this mod also checks guests' messages for offtopic. I think I have to install some notification mod...

Re: Overcoming mailout limitations

Oyabun1, what you'd recommend for my case with similar issue: I have the following hoster limitation: no more than 20 emails per connect, no more than 25 recipients in one email, no more than 60 emails per hour . Current board settings are: E-mail function name: mail E-mail package size: 20 E-mail c...
