Re: [Alpha] foum-mailing list bridge

I am very, very excited about this, as I've been beating my head against the wall fiddling with m2f.

I'm going to check it out now, so I'll probably be in touch with questions (or hopefully comments and additions).

Re: Allow username changes

Ahhhhhh

I should have thought to check the PERMISSIONS tab to set permissions.

My bad, thanks for the quick reply.

Allow username changes

I've been browsing the help forums and I haven't come up with a satisfactory answer for this problem. I want to allow my users to change their usernames. I went into ACP > General > Board Features: and set Allow username changes to Yes. This did not allow users to change their usernames. I read some...

Re: 3.0.2 to 3.0.7 database_update.php failing

So I solved the problem (I think), but the solution is pretty awful. There's something going wrong with the acl_add_option command at line 1001. I can't figure out exactly what happened, but it added the variable to my phpbb_acl_options table okay, but then couldn't extract the $new_id variable corr...

Re: 3.0.2 to 3.0.7 database_update.php failing

That might be a problem. I've inherited administration of the board, and I don't know what code changes were made before I took over. That's why I was hoping to use the update program, because it tells me those differences. EDIT: So I suppose I was wrong in saying there were no MODS, I don't know if...

3.0.2 to 3.0.7 database_update.php failing

I'm trying to update from 3.0.2 to 3.0.7-PL1, and I'm getting the following error in the database_update.php step. I'm confused because it says no errors, but there clearly are errors. Am I doing something wrong? I'm sure I've downloaded the correct update package. Updating database schema Progress ...

Re: MySQL access

Yes, I was informed of the image copyright recently, and addressed it. Sorry for the temporary theft.

Re: MySQL access

I'm not sure I understand the question. The forum is at discuss.pediatricpainresearch.ca, but I have local access to the hosting machine (so I think I should be able to access via localhost).

MySQL access

This might be more of a MySQL problem than phpBB problem, but this forum is much more inviting. I've recently taken over administration of a phpBB forum, and I can't seem to access the mysql database. The website is running fine, but I can't get into the database using either mysqladministrator or f...
