Re: [Request] Subscribe to Group's Forums - Needs completion

No one ever touched it.

It still works, but you have to add the group and forum IDs directly to the database. =(

Re: [Request] Subscribe to Group's Forums - Needs completion

Still no one? This is still working as a charm on our forums. It just needs a bit of patchwork to be deployed as a MOD and its really useful. Maybe if someone can point out where can I find someone interested in finishing this as an actual MOD we can share it to the rest of the community. I've seen ...

Re: [Request] Subscribe to Group's Forums - Needs completion

Hi ttf, Unluckily I still don't have time to learn how to code and package this as an actual MOD. It is still working on our forums but I see the necessity to package this in a way that it can be useful to the rest of the community. It is actually a very simple yet useful MOD, but the interaction wi...

Re: [RC] Share On Facebook, Twitter ... 1.0.2

There is actually a problem with the permissions set to the image files by default. I had to change those permissions manually. Check that when the images don't work. About the MODX, correct me if I'm wrong but AUTOMOD doesn't work with this MOD since it isn't validated by the phpbb team. I tried an...

Re: Link to join group?

^ that's brilliant if its working fine :) Hey, it does. ^_^ It's not the best solution, but it doesn't imply messing with the code. It's pretty straightforward for anyone. In case you were wondering how to resign a group with this, the BBCode should be: Usage: [gresign]{NUMBER}[/gresign] HTML Repla...

Re: Auto Subscribe to forum

Hi guys, I have been working on a MOD that does what is requested here. Its is still rudimentary about the operation since I assign the forums manually by way of SQL queries on a table, but it works and is deployed on our forum. I asked the MOD community to continue the project to make of this an ac...

[Request] Subscribe to Group's Forums - Needs completion.

Hello, I'm the administrator of the Zeitgeist Argentina's phpbb forum. Since we are using groups to organize our chapter, and we assign forums to each group , we need to: Assign forums to each group . For example, the Graphic Design Group has its Graphic Design Forum along with several sub-forums su...

Re: Link to join group?

Hey guys, As for now, I made a BBCode to join groups. I placed it on our group's forums descriptions in order to offer an easy way for our users to join the groups without having to go to their User Control Panel. In case you find it useful, the BBCode goes like this: Usage: [gjoin]{NUMBER}[/gjoin] ...

Re: [RC] Share On Facebook, Twitter ... 1.0.2

Hey guys. I just modified the code to make the facebook share link appear on every post , and share the post instead of the topic . Subsilver2 style. Haven't tried it on prosilver. It shares the post's URL even with the anchor that takes you right to the post on the page. That one took me a while, s...

[Split]Allow moderators to post Announcements but not Global

Hi, I need this too. Is there any way to set this kind of permission?

Its weird having a mod from a small forum setting a global announcement of something completely trivial for the rest of the users
