Re: [RC] [forum permission] Allow viewing topics started by others

That doesn't make sense to me. I don't have any code to do that, related to uninstalling. Maybe you deleted that role by mistake sometime in the past and the way the extension system works relies on you still having it. Try solving it by creating that role by yourself and try again. That worked, th...

Version 1.0.0
phpBB 3.2.1

After clicking "Delete data", this error pops up. Trying to install your new version and wanted a clean slate first.

Re: [BETA] [forum permission] Allow viewing topics started by others

I reindexed half a dozen times using text, MySQL, and some other option while troubleshooting. It never made any difference.

Search breaks for me, too. I'm able to search as an Administrator, but it's broken for regular users. I had to disable this extension in order to fix it.

Re: [3.1][3.2][RC] mChat

Thanks, mrgtb. On another note, mChat has been working fairly well for me for about a year now, but recently it is no longer refreshing. It makes a beep noise and displays an "Error Forbidden" at every 30 second refresh interval, and then displays "Update is off" at the bottom: http://i.imgur.com/2n...

Re: [3.1][3.2][RC] mChat

This is new. Just got a message from our web host about mChat: "You have an auto-refreshing script that uses a notable amount of CPU and is triggering every 10 seconds, causing a higher load on the machine and some overall performance problems." My Refresh Interval is set to 10 seconds. That's the o...

Re: [3.1.3 -> 3.1.5] Fatal error: Call to a member function getName() on a non-object

Yup, that seems to have worked. Perhaps some additional clarification would be helpful on using this method. "This is the package that most users should download to update their forums" is in the Automatic Update section , but I'm guessing most users don't modify their phpBB files. Furthermore, a bu...

Re: [3.1.3 -> 3.1.5] Fatal error: Call to a member function getName() on a non-object

On second thought, this should remain open, and perhaps get escalated. I just tested an update from 3.1.5 -> 3.1.8 and had the same exact error. This means that those of us who want to test our phpBB updates on a development localhost first (such as with WAMP or XAMPP) before doing them live aren't ...

Re: [RC] mChat

Please keep older versions up if you can. I'm still on 3.1.5 and the only download isn't compatible with it.

Re: [3.1.3 -> 3.1.5] Fatal error: Call to a member function getName() on a non-object

Update: The above issues only occured on my local machine when testing the update. When I did the update on the production site, no errors happened.

Not sure why, but I guess the problem is on my end. I suppose this can be closed.

Re: [3.1.3 -> 3.1.5] Fatal error: Call to a member function getName() on a non-object

Instead of using the "Download" option, I decided to run Filezilla server (I'm testing the update on my local machine) and do the FTP upload instead. Just got this error on the first database update: http://i.imgur.com/7Bi0oYA.png No other errors. I'm able to continue to the green "Update was succes...
