Application Forum

I want a forum section dedicated to hosting Moderator Applications. Currently the only way to keep applications (that I know of) is to have a post linking to the PM composer with the Application Approval group in the receiving box. It's messy and there's too many things that can go wrong with it. I ...

Refined Admin Permissions.

Does anyone know if there's a mod that can restrict what someone can do with Admin permissions? For instance, I want one of my Moderators to be able to edit signatures and avatars, as well as deal with the word filter, but I don't want them to be able to delete a user, their posts. or (preferably) e...

Re: Displaying Birthdays Globally

Would it be possible to update my current Style without a new one by the author? Or would we just need to find a completely different one?

Re: Displaying Birthdays Globally

Thanks for your help. Your style is extremely out of date and is for board version 3.0.5 Style and board versions must match. Does it matter if it's out-dated? I would have fixed it a long time ago, but I'm only in the default Admin class, and don't have access to the Styles menu. Not to mention the...

Re: Displaying Birthdays Globally

.... I just figured it out.

The user in question mixed the Month, and the Day boxes up, and when I set the birthday of the Dummy account, I blindly copied his settings without looking into it.

Sorry for wasting your time.

Re: Displaying Birthdays Globally

I want it on the profile screen, along with at the bottom of the board. The problem is that it won't appear at the bottom of the board, despite having all the prerequisite fields filled. It's a bit confusing. Also, I'm pretty sure my board is unmodified in any way, aside from having an out-dated sty...

Module Help

When you're setting up Modules in the ACP, is there a way to allow a user to ONLY see the custom Module categories? I want to allow a Moderator to have access to certain aspects of User Management (Signatures, Avatars, and Ranks), along with Forum Managing, and Word Censor management, but that's it....

Re: Displaying Birthdays Globally

I already looked around for those, they're both active. Some users are able to have the Congratulations message at the bottom, but some aren't. I can't manage to find the actual per user option to allow the board to congratulate people.

Displaying Birthdays Globally

Hey.
For the life of me, I can't find the option to show your birthday on the index. I can find the boxes for editing the birthday in the UCP, but not an option to have it displayed globally.

Anyone know where I can find it?

Thanks. <3

Re: Making Global Moderators accept new users!

Couldn't you just make all of them group leaders, and set the group to Request? That way all the current members in the group could accept users by managing the group via the UCP.

Re: Permissions fubar, guest posting despite permissions

To restrict Guest posting: Go into the ACP - Press the PERMISSIONS tab - Find "Groups' forum permissions" on the left under "Forum Based Permissions" - Select Guest group from the drop down list - Select the forums you want to restrict them in - Select "Read Only Access"...
