Is phpBB the best solution for having Hundreds of Forums

I'm planning on creating Gaming Website around phpBB but I would like to know whether phpBB is the right solution and whether it can cope with up to 5000 forums?

Re: Disable HTML codes

You can create your FTP Username and Password in the Server Control Pannel which is located in the website you host your forum on. If your using Free Forums I highly doubt you will be able access this panel.

Can you confirm whether you are still using Free Forums or you are paying for your domain?

After that just reverse the title and put into viewtopic_body.html <!------INCLUDE topic_header.html -----> instead of ...

Re: What do these mean?

Could you tell me generally what they define and whether changing the tags not in the functions but in other files and creating my own would work?

Re: Change the whole sitetitle, possible?

If you change it, this will affect most of your sites titles.

In overall_header.html located in:

Code: Select all

Installed_place/styles/stylename/templates/overall_header.html
Now search for <title> and once you find it just reverse the coding to what you want.

I have a database of users which exist all ready with ID numbers and installing the Bots could make the ID number go wrong I think.

Do you now how to stop them from installing themselves as members?
