Level 2 has corrected the issue (don't know how) and now my forums are up and running.

Thank you very much to all who has assisted technically, they have been three long days in which I did not feel alone ;)
Same here, thanks everyone :)

Re: Cannot access v3.2.2 board Error 403

Totally agree, I may well be moving. Their first response is often "We have changed nothing", which is usually a lie. It's gray area, WHM/Cpanel updates are pretty regular, typically once a day it's checked. For something like mod_security rule set that may have regular updates. Yes I see what you ...

Just got an email. It has been fixed, let's hope it's OK for other users on UK2.

Mod security settings are very easy to change, ten minutes tops I would say, if they know what they’re doing of course
Been four days now  I'm not full of confidence.

Re: Cannot access v3.2.2 board Error 403

I use to have a job supplying, changing and supporting software to calculate the cost to repair cars for insurance customers. We listened to customers if they had a problem. NEVER said nothing had changed, would say maybe it has and I have not been made aware or equivalent. Treat customers with resp...

Re: Cannot access v3.2.2 board Error 403

You’re paying these [server] people, they shouldn’t require input from multiple sources to fix their issues. Totally agree, I may well be moving. Their first response is often "We have changed nothing", which is usually a lie. What amazes me is that this fault has led to many customers raising tick...

Re: Cannot access v3.2.2 board Error 403

For your information, I've received a message from hosting provider tech support admitting that the issue is related to "Yes, the ModSecurity rules were recently updated, those resulting in the 403/404 error. " as EA117 suggested ;) They are working on it at level 2. That is good news. As you will ...

We're seeing exactly the same issue with UK2.

Same symptoms and started Friday last week.
Good, if you see what I mean. At least I am not alone. Let's hope they fix it soon.

Mention that to your host as well then, there should be entries if you’ve been receiving 403’s.

Have any of you had a look at the server error logs?
Just had a look, nothing has appeared there after I just tried. Cannot say how good the error trapping is of course. Sorry nothing to report.

Re: 403 error when accessing the forum

It points to an htaccess/permissions issue but I can't find anything wrong. On the other side, the unformatted presentation of the main page could points to an style issue, which has not been modified for more than one year. I've even thought in ressetting the style to the standard Prosilver but ha...
