Re: Permalink doesn't function on custom styles.

Permalink is the direct link to a post in viewtopic, like this . I'm used to using the terms used on other software, lol. The black box in the image is what I'm referring to. permalink.png On my forum whenever somebody clicks on it, it simply refreshes the page when pressing the permalink. This link...

Permalink doesn't function on custom styles.

So, I have an issue on my forum where the permalink doesn't function on my custom styles. Right now it's the only thing that doesn't function properly. I'm pretty sure that it's a conflict with the cbox toggle code that I use as it only appears on my custom styles, I'm just wondering if there's a wa...

Re: Usergroup color in BBCode?

Oh wow, that's a brilliant extension! Thanks for the suggestion, Christian! I'm gonna check it out since it'll help with other things I'm working on, too. It might even make this thing here easier since I'm going in and adding in classes for every little thing. xD I was actually working on a workaro...

Re: Usergroup color in BBCode?

Would there be an alternative way to do this? I've seen it done once before on another software using stylesheets, and I thought it was a neat idea for the specific thing I'm trying to accomplish.

It'd only be used once by each user, but I'm trying to make it easier for them.

Re: Usergroup color in BBCode?

I used those in the HTML replacement for the BBCode. What would I be using here, then?

Usergroup color in BBCode?

I've tried a few methods with the user group colors, but I'm wondering if there's a way for a BBCode to grab the user author color? I've tried {USER_COLOR} and the {postrow.POST_AUTHOR_COLOUR} , but it won't work. My goal is to create a BBCode template that grabs the user group color for a backgroun...

Re: Who's reading what topic

I'm interested to know why you feel the need to know who's reading what, what's the idea behind it? This is a standard feature that is provided on many other forum softwares by default. MyBB, JCink, Proboards, and I do believe other paid softwares have this feature without questioning "why" somebod...

Re: Who's reading what topic

I actually tried that, but the extension didn't seem to work after enabling it? My software's 3.1.9.

Who's reading what topic

Considering that Google Analytics isn't very accurate in tracking phpBB visitors, I'm wondering if there's an extension available or if a code can be provided to enhance the Who's Online list? I don't mind editing core files. I've looked around and haven't seen anything for it. Me and my users would...

Re: Active Topics not aligned in columns

Thank you for the compliment!

And actually, that did resolve it—thank you! I didn't realize that it didn't have a width.

Re: Active Topics not aligned in columns

No, this is a custom style based on Prosilver I designed for my board and Active Topics and the viewforum_body.html do not look like Prosilver's. The viewforum_body.html is properly aligned in columns and Active Topics should have the same look, but it needs its own width as it'd then conflict with ...

Active Topics not aligned in columns

I have an issue on my board with the active topics not properly aligned in columns with the headers. Can someone help me out? I don't want it to conflict with the viewforum_body.html style as it looks like this and the active topics needs to be kept separate, I'd like it to have its own width. Assis...

Different usergroup colors for style via CSS/HTML?

Hi all, I was just wondering if there was a way to give usergroups different colors for different styles using CSS/HTML or another alternative? I have a light and a dark style on my board and the colors are set to match the dark style, but my members have been complaining about the clashing colors s...

Re: Can't Access "Attachments" and "Polls" due to Conflict?

Apologies for the late response to this! I've been pretty busy. But anyhow, I'm pretty positive that this is the code that's causing a conflict with phpBB. Its original creator designed it for free hosted forum softwares, so there's no phpBB "fix" so it won't toggle unless there's the noconflict cod...
