Styles Compatbility with 3.2 ?

Hi all. Seeing as there is a sticky for the extensions, I am suggesting that one also be created to allow us to compare notes on which styles are compliant, somewhat compliant, or broken with 3.2 vs 3.1. I've had good luck so far with We_Universal, and I see some styles are now showing in the DB as ...

Re: Incompatible Extensions for 3.2

Anyone else think a sticky topic like this for Styles in 3.2 might fly? Just sayin' Cheers :) I'm pretty sure that would include every style that was built during 3.1. ;) I am seeing different levels of compatibility between certain styles. My main board uses a modded We_Universal, and on my ...

Re: phpbb Softaculous

Hi All, so I contacted their support, seems I missed an extra URL that would allow the DB to be updated after the files. So, for anyone using Softaculous, remember after the first upgrade process (as always in the past) there is a new box in the results page, with a URL , that will take you to the D...

Re: phpbb Softaculous

I can add a little note to this... I have used Softaculous with Cpanel since I started my forum 6 years ago, and never had any issues upgrading, i have a test forum which I always upgrade first... up until 3.2 there have been 0 issues. What I found today was that my test forum upgraded to 3.2 as far...

Re: Logon Report - Registered Users

Make sure you have the User Permission "Can view hidden online users". If you have it set to "Never" on one of your groups it will be blocked. Ahh, that's probably it. A while back we had a furor that came from some users being panicky about bots being online... so I fiddled with the Who's Online p...

Re: Logon Report - Registered Users

Hi Kev, where are you accessing this to see the list you are talking about, I cannot see the same detail you refer to, which is odd, as I do recall seeing that in earlier versions.... I am running 3.1.10 and I even switched my style to prosilver thinking that for some reason the list heading with la...

Re: Logon Report - Registered Users

The last login date is in the memberlist. Please visit Preventing Spam in phpBB3 for various options for fighting spam in phpBB. Sure, that shows all members join date but I am looking for a list that I dont have to drill into to see each user's last logon date. An "at a glance list " in the ACP wo...

Logon Report - Registered Users

Hi, I had a search around a little, not finding this... hence my question :D I would like a report of which registered users have logged on and when. I get so many spammers trying to logon, searching through that User Log report is pointless. Is there some easy way to view this, (am i blind) or is t...

Re: Struggling to understand....

Thanks, I am confident the permissions are correct. My solution is to simply hide guest activity, that will end the discussion. It seems like we need a way to filter activity in Who's Online more granularly from the ACP.

Struggling to understand....

Ya, that sounds pathetic  .... but I've read bundles of posts on "Who's Online" and also Permissions, and I am stumped on how to explain to some of my users what they are seeing. phpBB v 3.1.9 I have all bots and guests set to never on many of our non public forums, and read only on all...
