Re: Ajax in phpbb

How is that? Well it would be if it would work... (there is at least 1 script error) You take the data from $_POST and pass it over to the SQL statement without sanitizing. Replace: $university_name = $_POST['university_name']; global $db; $sql = 'SELECT * FROM ' . UNIVERSITY_TABLE . ' WHERE univer...

Re: Ajax in phpbb

Your script is insecure !

Code: Select all

$university_name = $_POST['university_name'];
...
$sql = 'SELECT *
      FROM ' . UNIVERSITY_TABLE . '
      WHERE university_name = ' $university_name;
It's vulnerable to XSS attacks !
You should remove it from your server !

Re: Is there a "Twitter-Feed for the Index.php" Mod?

A Mod would be an overkill You can create your very own site widget using: http://twitter.com/about/resources/widgets/widget_search Example code showing discussions related to #phpbb hashtag: <script charset="utf-8" src="http://widgets.twimg.com/j/2/widget.js"></script> <script> new TWTR.Widget({ ve...

Re: Random Thread Generator Button

The error means that you are either having some withespaces before the php opening tag:

Code: Select all

<?php
whitespaces should be removed

Or there is an encoding problem and you need to save the php file as:
"UTF-8 without BOM"
This can be done with Notepad++

It gives Fatal error: Call to a member function sql_query_limit() on a non-object in /home/babasayfa/domains/babasayfa.com/public_html/forum/moko.php on line 12 The code requires phpBB core functionality, so some phpBB header shiznit must be included before the code: <?php define('IN_PHPBB', true);...

Re: Registring with POST url

In Java ? You need to fetch the HTML data of the registration page and read out these values. There should be enough examples on how to do this on the web <input type="hidden" name="creation_time" value="CHICKEN" /> <input type="hidden" name="form_token" value="CHICKEN" /> Grab the delicious chicken...

Re: Would you pay for a 100% working anti spam solution ?

There seems to be no market so I got a brilliant new Idea ! I am going to provide a crack Q&A captcha service and put it online for free. Just to show what a pathetic protection this is. So I can create a market for professional anti-spam systems :D Good luck with that. That's illegal, by the way. ...

Re: Would you pay for a 100% working anti spam solution ?

True, but your license to keep using the anti-spam solution would also vanish in case of a requested refund. So basically, you pay for something and if that something doesn't do what you've payed for you have to chose. Either complain, or stick with it and pay for something that doesn't do what you...

Re: Would you pay for a 100% working anti spam solution ?

No, I wouldn't pay for anything like that. Two reasons: 1. There is no such thing as 100% working anti spam solution. Why? Because nothing can stop manual spammers. 2. Q&A captcha does great job stopping bots. Moderation queue for newly registered users does great job stopping those that manage to ...

Re: Would you pay for a 100% working anti spam solution ?

The fact that you are not allowed to sell your mods on phpBB.com is the major reason why there is a lack of quality mods in the ModDB. I take great umbrage to that statement. cookie ? :) compared to other cmsystems like joomla, my statement is true: http://extensions.joomla.org just look how many g...
