Re: Guest Notice: "This Board Has No Forums."

Thanks a lot for your time and help Kevin. Running the query on the database found that the "anonymous" account already existed. I had simply deleted it from the "Guests" group, but it was still in existence, just not in any group. We did eventually find it on the database, user 1, and re-entered it...

Re: Guest Notice: "This Board Has No Forums."

I have the same issue, and in my case, I deleted the "Anonymous" user, thinking I had somehow created that by mistake. So now none of my visitors can view the forums at all unless they are logged in and I'm in a bit of a panic as I've invited people to join and they will see no forums !! Please can ...

Re: TOO_SMALL error

Ah I wish I had checked this thread again and seen your posts Alex (I'm Frenh too by the way :) ). Tonight I did what you told me Dicky, I put the original code back in and uploaded. And it worked again ! Then, just because I like to have my fields in a specific order, I started moving things in the...

Re: TOO_SMALL error

Thanks for your reply. :) No, the TOO_SMALL is not in brackets, it's on its own (repeated 3 times on 3 consecutive lines), and it's in the "Edit Profile" section, at the top, just under the text that says "Please note that this information may be viewable to other members. Be careful when including ...

Re: TOO_SMALL error

I have a similar issue with this error message coming up. I did add a few Custom Profile Fields that are "required" fields on my registration page. Once people have registered and fill in their profile for the first time, they can save that information, and everything is fine. But when they go back ...

Re: Norwegian Language pack with bug: 500 internal servererr

I read in another thread that someone is working on the Norwegian pack. Do we have any idea of when it is likely to be ready ? (I could do with it myself for my boards. I'm using the Danish one in the meantime since the two languages are so close and mutually understandable, but I'd prefer to have t...

Norwegian language pack

I'm making multi-lingual message boards directed principally at Europe. I have found most of the language packs I needed, installed, and no problem. THANKS to all who have created those. I read somewhere that a Norwegian language pack is being worked on. Is there any idea of when it's likely to be a...

Re: Forum rules & Terms of Service?

If you want to modify the Terms of Service, so you can add to them or have something that suits your boards better, go in your "language" folder, then in the "en" folder (for English language), and in there look for the ucp.php file. Open that, and the first section in there is TERMS_OF_USE_CONTENT....

Re: [Discuss] New language pack system

As I do not find any updated package for Norwegian , do you know if anyone is taking care of it? Am asking, as I am half way through an updated version, but will not complete if anyone else is on the job  We've had one, but it's long inactive, I've sent you a PM about how to continue. I'm ...
