Re: Does phpBB use hooks?

Before, when adding/installing an extension, it was usually required to edit the source code, so when phpbb was updated, every edit had to be done again. When an extension was removed, the edit had to be found and removed. An outdated extension could break the whole forum. Hooks; like WordPress, jus...

Does phpBB use hooks?

I was admin on different phpbb fora for many years, but about 4 years ago we started to use FB and then Discord, because I spend more time maintaining the fora than gaming. But FB and Discord doesn't do the job at all.
My question is, does phpBB now use hooks for plugins?

Back Ground change only

I would like the members to be able to change only the background of the forum. Is that possible? And how do I set up the style for that? What files do I need to put into it? I guess it's only the file with the name of the background and the background and that it have to follow file structure? http...

Re: Moved topics show up as active

No, no posts have been moved to that recently.
There is an archive forum that only officers can read and when I move topic to that they show up as new.

Moved topics show up as active

Hello
We have an archive on our forum but when I move topics to it they show up as there are new posts in the them and it is very inconvenient for an archived topic, that is moved because it have been in active for a period.
Is there any solution for this?

Re: [RC]Multiple ranks (not linked to usergroups) - 1.01

This is the mod I installed.
But I have a question, can the ranks in the mod be used only as pictures and without the text?

Anyone who use the link "The Team" on forum and sup forums, located at the bottom and beside "Delete all board cookies" will see everyone who have registered on the forum, even accounts that hasn't yet been activated. How can I fix that?
Thank you.

Re: Allow all extensions for admins?

Yes I was talking about attachments.
We have members that make eg small java (jar) programs and we need them to be posted in the forum they belong to so the solution present now, isn't a good option.
We'll just have to link to download outside the forum for now then.
