Re: Using {SIMPLETEXT} and {INTTEXT}

You're using {REGEX1 in the template instead of {REGEXP1 . In the definition, it should be like this: {REGEXP1=/../} If you have multiple value, you should give them proper names for forward compatibility. [shield project={IDENTIFIER} version={REGEXP=/^[-.<=>@0-9a-z]+$/} color={IDENTIFIER2}]{PARSE=/...

Re: Using {SIMPLETEXT} and {INTTEXT}

If you want to limit the content to a particular set of characters you can use a regexp like this: {REGEXP=/^[-.<=>@0-9a-z]+$/} in the definition and {REGEXP} in the template.

Re: Got error during search after update to 3.2 version

For future reference, I tracked it down to censor_text(), which isn't totally HTML- or XML-safe. The simplest workaround would be to avoid censoring things that resembles markup.

Re: Got error during search after update to 3.2 version

What was the censored word and replacement? They shouldn't be able to make the XML invalid.

Re: Got error during search after update to 3.2 version

You're going to have to find what XML causes this error message: DOMDocument::loadXML(): Specification mandate value for attribute Trash in Entity, line: 25 I don't know whether something creates/created an attribute named Trash or if the word "Trash" is used as a placeholder for an invalid attribut...

Re: How to remove empty attributes?

You can use XSLT to only add an attribute if it's specified.

Code: Select all

<td>
	<xsl:copy-of select="@colspan"/>
	<xsl:copy-of select="@rowspan"/>
	<xsl:apply-templates/>
</td>

Re: Got error during search after update to 3.2 version

Something causes the XML for the post to be malformed. It could be due to a bug, an extension or some SQL query you've run manually.

Re: Calls to s9e.github.io

I'm going to copy/paste from another FAQ : It has become a popular pattern among social websites such as Facebook and Twitter to provide embeddable content not in the form of an iframe but as JavaScript. There are several issues with this approach; Firstly, it only works during the initial page load...

Re: Slow searches on new Linode machine

Sounds like you're talking about the mbstring polyfill or some kind of userland function that is not used if mbstring is enabled.

Re: Allow using Content-Security-Policy without unsafe-inline

It would make things like spoiler BBCodes and embedding tweets much harder.

There's not going to be any browser support for whitelisting inline attributes for a long time. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_nY ... qWlTAHst7c

Am I right that I cannot run attribute-filters on the renderer? Tried that too.
No, attribute filters are applied at parsing time. The renderer is a lightweight process that simply builds HTML based on what's already there.

The event you'll want to use is core.text_formatter_s9e_render_after.

My objective is to indent nominated text, without a bullet point. How do I achieve this now?
You should create a custom BBCodes that applies the CSS you want.

Otherwise, you can specify what kind of bullet style you want, e.g. [list=square] or in your case, [list=none].

when I clear the cache, disable/enable extension or delete extension data in the ACP. It takes a while to rebuild everything in the cache. If the server is slow, it may take more than one try. If you get that error message, just load the forum index in another tab and reload it every time it fails....

Re: Weird custom bbcode behavior

The short explanation is that HTML4 elements that don't require an end tag (e.g. img or br ) do not have to be closed but elements from other specs (e.g. HTML5) do if they are followed by another element. Additionally, if the template uses any xsl: elements, everything should be closed and the templ...
