Re: Change internal topic links to their title

i.e. No different than if the post author themselves had chosen to do that. And if the post author didn't have access to the post being linked to, simply no replacement will be performed and the raw link will be included as-is. A while ago I wrote a proof of concept that does exactly that . It's ea...

Re: Best way for bbcode content parsing

You should definitely frame your issue as "input => output" otherwise it's extremely hard to figure out what you're trying to do.

Re: Best way for bbcode content parsing extension

If things seem complicated you need to simplify them. The best way would be to start with what the actual input is and what the actual output (HTML) should be, not describe the way you want to do it. Based on what I read, I would do something like that: $configurator = new s9e\TextFormatter\Configur...

Re: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 1 passed to s9e\TextFormatter

If you post the full stack trace / error with all the filenames and lines, I'll take a look at it. Most likely there's nothing we can do and the issue is your PHP runtime. Also, you posted in the 3.2 forum, but I think you're using 3.3? You didn't post any information from the thing there: https://w...

Re: bbcode URL tag breaking URL's?

U+FEFF is an invisible character. You copy/pasted it from somewhere. It's also present in your first post, that's why you see the same result here. You need to remove it from your URL. One way to do that is to edit your post, delete the r] part of the post then type it again manually without copy/pa...

Re: Javascript BBCode Stopped Working in PHPBB 3.3

Ditch the extra quotes and fix the attribute name: [stimg={INTTEXT1?} url={URL2}]{URL1}[/stimg] <script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.mtbs3d.com/XXXXX/XXXXX/sVie%20...%20Gallery.js" /> <div align="center" data-prv-url="{@content}" data-img-url="{@url}"> <xsl:if test="@stimg"> <xsl:attribut...

Re: Page load times seem slow for anyone?

You should create a new phpBB installation, on the same database with another prefix, and see whether it's faster. No extension, no custom style, no nothing. If it's as slow as your current install, you'll know it's because the server is slow.

Re: HTTP error 500

The extension doesn't do much. It will slow down the viewtopic page by a few milliseconds but it will prevent those errors from occurring so it's probably worth keeping it unless you can fix all the posts. The command line reparser should be able to fix those posts if you're able to run the CLI tool...

Re: HTTP error 500

Assuming the XML displayed is the same as the one stored in your database then the XML has been truncated after you upgraded to phpBB 3.2 or later. That rules out most conversion tools or upgrade jobs. This could be related to your database configuration, a bad backup being restored or something of ...

Re: HTTP error 500

Those posts have been truncated. It looks like they end prematurely where a should be. I don't know what would do that.

Re: HTTP error 500

The extension should display the original XML for posts that are invalid. If you edit the post the original XML will be lost though.

Re: HTTP error 500

The log doesn't make sense and without the original XML it's impossible to even guess why you're having those errors.

You can try installing this extension to get the original XML: https://github.com/s9e/phpbb-ext-debug- ... master.zip

Re: HTTP error 500

Yes, that's why I don't know how it could get to line 600 since it doesn't match line 582.

Unless PHP strips XML from stack traces, in which case the error log is basically useless. :(

Re: HTTP error 500

What's the content of the post that triggers the error from the first post? You should be able to obtain it via phpMyAdmin or any SQL interface with this: SELECT post_text FROM phpbb_posts WHERE bbcode_uid = '1p4fpksv' I can't make sense of the error message. It should be impossible to get this: inc...
