Yes and deleted the old one before as instructions said too
Using FTP, delete the /vendor and /cache folders from the board's root folder on the host.

Again I Restored the original 3.2.2 version Sure its works But can update. I did try both methods
What makes you think the update worked because my board is working when I have said multiple times I restored.

Site was restored due to high user load always on site. very active. So no install directory any more
