Re: What is the red heart on the topic icon mean?

So typically those just show up in the post bar, but when someone creates a post, they show up in the topic icon itself.

Thanks for all suggestions, appreciate you all to the ends of the earth!

Re: Error Msg: when posting img

seems to work on this forum So I went back and set my picture limits to "0" and it imports ok. But does that really mean I can't set limits on files if I want to allow imports? I'm not saying that right. The Frankenstein pic is under my 500x500 set limit, but still won't import unless I set to "0" ?!?

Error Msg: when posting img

Is there some reason this imported picture give an error saying It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct. https://athenagrayson.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/KarloffFrankensteinAni-300x222.png https://athenagrayson.com/blog...

delete all smilies?

HI,

I've added too many smilies and would like to get rid of the whole bunch and start over.
Is there a way to delete the whole batch, not individually?

Thanks,

RC

group can't see attached posted pictures

Hi,

If a group can't see posted pictures (says they don't have permission to see attached pictures) - where do I look to give them permission? What is that under?

Thanks RC

keeping hierarchies straight

How do the permissions of Registered users impact groups I might create? That is, if Registered users don't have access to ForumOne, can my group have access?

Thanks, rc

Point of permissions for categories?

HI,

I just use categories to organize forums. But Categories seem to have their own permissions. How do these permissions impact the forums underneath them?

Thanks, RC

relevance of bots for closed bboards?

Hi,

Is there any use in keeping bots active if a bboard is private and not needing/wanting any search engine indexing ?

And if not - how best to turn them off?
What happens if I just delete them as a group?

Thanks, RC
