Re: Validation Q

If the other extension's template event is handled first then yes, its content will be outside of your wrapper. That may be a problem for your extension in particular, i.e. your wrapper might not be the outer-most one, but it won't affect the resulting document's integrity. Unfortunately there's no ...

Re: Validation Q

This would probably conflict with any other extension that uses one of those events. Why would it? Your wrapper div would include whatever that other extension adds. If that other extension also adds a wrapper, you would have two wrapping divs which is perfectly fine. As long as the resulting HTML ...

Re: [RC] Filter by country - version 1.0.7

if (stristr($url, "ucp.$this->phpEx?mode=login")) It should be possible to order URL parameters in any way, but this check requires the mode to be the first parameter. You should only check the URL for the script name and use the request service to check for the mode parmeter. Example: if (stripos(...

Re: config cache does not invalidate

Note that both configs are stored in the db with is_dynamic = 0. That could fix the issue. This is precisely how you fix your problem, i.e by setting the is_dynamic flag in your migration to true . Remember to reinstall your extension (delete data) after you changed the migration. You don't need to...

Re: $phpbb_container from migration file

The recommended approach is to make your migration extend \phpbb\db\migration\container_aware_migration which gives you access to $this->container.

Re: $phpbb_container from migration file

You could instantiate your service in a migration's custom method manually, and use the container to grab all its dependencies:

Code: Select all

$config = $this->container->get('config');
$service = new \vendor\ext\service($config);
$service->update_resource();

Re: $phpbb_container from migration file

As 3Di pointed out, it won't work in ext.php either. Your services won't be available to the container until you see the page that says your extension has been enabled, at which point all migrations and ext.php code are done executing. I'd solve it with a config value that signals whether your resou...
