Re: HTML Content sliders - PLEASE HELP!

Ok: I managed to fix it myself for the appearance part. But how to make it auto-slide now? The github has this text about autoslide - how to turn it into a working code: startSlide Starting slide index (zero-based) default: 0 options: integer It looks like this: http://www.reflexion-x.com/test.html ...

Re: HTML Content sliders - PLEASE HELP!

Also: here's the github for this: https://github.com/stevenwanderski/bxslider-4 I would like to make it auto-sliding. This thing can be used to announce stuff and even include video content etc. In my one it's not sliding yet, but the image works as a link. EDIT: By the way, this is an open source p...

Re: Upgrading from 3.2.8. to 3.3.0 "Could not find path to your former board. Please check your settings and try again"

At not point do you need to upload the 3.2.8 files (NOT 2.2.8). The OP asked how to go back to 3.2.8 and was told. ... Ok, yeah, but what's the step-chain to get back to the 2.2.8. ? Are the backups enough to do that? It was a typo, in the title it has it right, sorry about the typo. :)

So your database is OK now?
Than rename your install folder.
Well I'm having a screen staring at me on the ACP (see the attachment).
So should I now install or not - haa, as I'm not sure if I need to install or not.

Re: Upgrading from 3.2.8. to 3.3.0 "Could not find path to your former board. Please check your settings and try again"

Ok I got some support from my host team. They fixed my mistake for MYSQL. So right now I deleted the dump folder after getting it successfully done. But what would be the next step? I have done everything above the 3) <-- by following the instructions: https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3.1/kb/ar...

I did what 3Di told - i.e. 1) deleted all the files except what needed to stay. 2) uploaded the fresh phpbb 3.2.8. files 3) then I entered https://reasonheads.com/https://reasonheads.com/dump/bigdump.php But got the following message (also attached the message): [16-Feb-2020 03:24:49 America/Los_Ang...

Re: Upgrading from 3.2.8. to 3.3.0 "Could not find path to your former board. Please check your settings and try again"

In English: Do I finish the Check out the restore section of: Transferring Your Board to a New Host or Domain. guide first? Does this guide need me to delete the files that 3Di told, before I do the dump file pointing out?

Also at what point I upload the fresh 2.2.8. Files?

Re: Upgrading from 3.2.8. to 3.3.0 "Could not find path to your former board. Please check your settings and try again"

Follow the 3.3 Userguide ‘Upgrading from 3.2 to 3.3’ to the letter and you should be fine. It's a bit confusing atm (been sleeping 2 hours the last night) but I just would like to know that when do I need to upload the fresh 2.2.8. files? And when do I delete the files that 3Di told me to?

Re: Upgrading from 3.2.8. to 3.3.0 "Could not find path to your former board. Please check your settings and try again"

One more question; Do I delete the files you told me to before or afterwards, when I'm about to follow this step of the instructions: Upload both bigdump.php and your database backup file to this directory. Point your browser to the dump/bigdump.php file on your new domain. Follow the on-screen inst...

Re: Upgrading from 3.2.8. to 3.3.0 "Could not find path to your former board. Please check your settings and try again"

Yes the db backup replaces the content of the database (drop the db and import 3.2.8 backup) Do backup the files first and then delete all files except config.php , folder ext , folder files , folder images , folder store - Then upload all the files from a fresh 3.2.8 package except for config.php ...

Backups made via ACP are in the store folder.
Ok, yeah, but what's the step-chain to get back to the 2.2.8. ?
Are the backups enough to do that?
