Wow, talk about old. Well, you PMed me and I checked around to see if I could find it, and I managed to find a modified version of it that I made, though I don't know what I modified in it. http://rapidshare.de/files/21213501/kinsleek.zip.html In fact, this is so old, that it shames me to even repos...

Hi Kinetix, Good to see that you picked up working on this mod again. I replaced the old version by the new one and it seems to work OK. Also the multipage thread problem seems to be resolved. Great. As you may have read earlier in this thread, I hosted the 1.0.0 version on my site: http://www.digi...

Well, I've resurged from the dead. Do you have a link and a test user where I can see the problem with the MOD?

Happy New Year to everyone (hey, I've been gone, give me a break for the late one). I was just looking around, and stumbled across my old MOD, and was surprised to see that people still use it. And it looks like you've been irritated by the bugs. Well, I decided to look up the old code and found a p...

Hello, Ptirhiik. I never bothered to use a "premodded" package before, as I knew they were terrible for a server (phpBBFL does around 80 queries per page, heh). But I decided to try your package, and it turns out it had almost every feature I had created for my own customized phpBB board apart from ...

This only checks image bbcode. It's entirely JavaScript, so it won't affect your serverload even in the slightest bit. It's all client-side.

Thanks for validating my MOD.

Just so everyone knows, I will give support for this MOD, but I will not be making any enhancements to move the width limitation to the ACP.

Sorry, if you want to discuss that MOD's functions, do it in it's thread, not this one. I won't bother explaining to you what that MOD does again.

I have absolutely no idea how to do it in IIS (ugh). Check your manual. Just for reference, in Apache you change conf/httpd.conf with something like this: ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "C:/Apache2/cgi-bin/" <Directory "C:/Apache2/cgi-bin"> AllowOverride None Options None Order allow, deny Allow from all </Di...

Re: couple of questions

1. I've never seen that directory before. If nothing's in it, you're probably safe. 2. Check your theme's viewtopic_body.tpl. Make sure it has {postrow.SIGNATURE} somewhere in it. Just in case you're not doing it correctly... You can change your signature in your profile. Go check and make sure you ...

The file has to be in your webserver's docroot.

For example, C:\Apache2\htdocs\.
Then you can point to it with http://yoursite.com/file.

I manually backup my forums using phpmyadmin. Personally I think that's the best way.

But here's info on automated backups: http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article.php?article_id=169

No, it's not. I just took a look at the code of that MOD. Let me clarify. This MOD compares the text you are CURRENTLY posting, to the text of your LAST post. If they are the exact same, you cannot post. That MOD only checks a time limitation between posts (which is already a feature of phpBB). The ...
