Re: [Discuss] phpBB 3.1.1 Release - Please Update

Yeah, I told the guy who handles the hosting.
(we have different admins that handle different areas, I take care of doing the upgrades, handling the mods, and things like that. Another deals with all the hosting stuff.)

kinerity wrote:Your server must be running PHP 5.3.3 or higher. If you meet that requirement (as well as the other requirements), then you're fine.
And if our host won't upgrade, what are our options?
How long will the older version be supported?

Re: Bandwidth going through the roof.

That is 5 gig a day, not per month. It was 2.5 gigs per day (or 2500 megs as stated in the original post) We are on a dedicated server and had a plan with 100 gigs of bandwidth per month. Which has been working fine for years. Until this massive uptick in bandwidth. We are on a pace right now to be ...

Bandwidth going through the roof.

For some reason, our bandwidth usage has doubled. We were using 2500-2800 megs per day pretty consistently for months now. Suddenly earlier this month that number jumped to around 5000 megs per day. I am not sure if there is some kind of problem I should be looking for, or if we are just victims of ...

Re: Any way to mass delete shadow topics?

Thank you. Not exactly what I was looking for, but a heck of a lot easier than the other way. The shadow topic tab in MCP will show you 50 topics at a time, and you can 'mark all' then delete them. Only took me about half an hour to clear out over 2500 shadow topics on our forum. And now I won't hav...

Any way to mass delete shadow topics?

I am hoping there is a way to mass delete shadow topics. Using the MCP and deleting each one by clicking the link is going to take hours. I got to looking and we have ones from as far back as 7 years ago. With over 50,000 topics on the forum it would be a massive undertaking to try and clean them al...

Text box is too wide now.

Ok, this past weekend I upgraded our board from 3.0.8 to 3.0.10 All went smoothly. The only issue we are having now is when typing a post, a reply to a post, a PM, or reply to PM. The area where you type the text (not sure of it's technical name) is too wide. It pushes way out the right side of the ...

Re: [RC] Opening External Link in New Window

Durangod, do you mean overall_header.html ? I only have an overall_header.html in /styles/subsilver2/template directory. And I cannot find the line "<!--[if lt IE 8]><link href="{T_THEME_PATH ... " Sane question here. We are running subsilver2 and would love to get this mod working on our forum. Bu...

Problem with "disallowed usernames"

Actually, we have a registration problem. After being submitted, registrations just sit there doing nothing, until the page times out. I think I have traced the problem to the "disallowed username" list. When I go to that page in ACP the page just sits there perpetually trying to finish loading. I f...
