I haven't noticed any problem - what device are you using?
I am not using a smart phone, if that what you are referring to as a device.

What I use, have always use it, is the old standard computer technology e.g monitor, ordinary keyboard, sound speakers, mouse.

Re: phpBB.com Website Feedback

I don't know if anyone else have notice it as I did today, but when one is searching and looking at the result it is hard to see the page number at the bottom. Should one want to read more than the first page.

Why not make the selected page number to be colored like dark blue. :)

Re: Russian dating site spammers

You can use one of these extension to stop bots from spam 1. Anti-Spam by CleanTalk I don't know much about that extension, but FWIW I did used the Stop Forum Spam (SFS) antispam mod in phpBB 3.0.x and so far it worked. However, it requires a lot of attention since you as an admin need to submit ba...

Re: Update from phpBB 3.2.7 to 3.2.8 failed

Thanks, Robert. However, after I read it I notice one thing that I think should be mentioned and that's when one need or could add the current config.php back, because without the current config.php file the user cannot login (the password is stored in the config.php ). 4. Remove (delete) the config...

Re: Update from phpBB 3.2.7 to 3.2.8 failed

I would like to know what I need to do in order to prevent the same thing happening as it did for the OP.

Right now, I am running 3.2.5, my bad I've been lazy and forgot to update to 3.2.6, and my question is.

Can I update directly from 3.2.5 to 3.2.8 when using PHP 7.1?

Re: Complete list of all online visitors

A guest can also be a robot / spider not added to your group of bots. You can use the user agent string or ip to identify those and add then to your bots group. This will hide the logon screen and other pages not needed for bot access, and can help you getting better page ranking in search engines ...

If you ever played Elite then you can actually do that on a modern computer in fact directly in your browser.

Re: Complete list of all online visitors

That doesn't make it THE standard to be followed. Also, inherently you implicitly want to get rid of the "hidden" status. And what's the point of seeing guest anyway? by definition, guests do not have a username so what are you expecting to see? if you want to see how many guests are online at any ...

Complete list of all online visitors

I wonder why haven't phpBB changed the who is online list yet when other forum software as IPS, vBulletin already show every visitor whether it is a member or a guest or bots. Why do we still need to first click on "Who is online" then click on "Display guests"? I can view all visitors in both IPS a...

Re: Improved Moderation

@warmweer: You clearly haven't read my post hence for the misunderstanding here, so I'll try to explain. First, what TWC (Total War Center) has is a moderation structure that's a lot more improved than what phpBB ever had. Second, sure I know about the Newly Registered group, but did I even mention ...

Improved Moderation

<t>I am surprised to notice that very little have changed in phpBB 3.2 from phpBB 3.0 regarding the structure of moderation. <br/> <br/> What I mean is what TWC has (running vBulletin 4.2.5 and recently upgraded a lot of software plus added the SSL protocol), maybe a moderation addon, and I find it ...

Re: phpBB.com Website Feedback

Is it possible to let a link, in this case a link via the Demo tab for a style, to open a separate tab in your browser rather than loading the page in the same tab one is using to read the information for a style? It's a little annoying to go back every time one wants to continue from where the link...
