My ISP had an ad that popped up like that when you close your Email page. I remember installing Adblock-plus on some computers here at work because employees were trying to access their personal email over lunch.,
It seems your boss doesn't trust you enough.

Re: block blocker blocker

I ones I hate are the ones that pop up and claim you have won a prize, and require you to click and visit the fake site to remove the popup. That was what prompted me to install the blocker in the first place. Every time I got a message like that I know that site cannot be trusted, so that's why I ...

Re: REMOVE flash player support (or add the option to disable it)

The last release of Adobe Flash Player was released on September 10, 2013, 7 years ago. For those 7 years, Adobe only pushed out security updates and minor bug fixes. Adobe themselves discontinued all support, including security updates, on December 31, 2020. In a move to further reduce the number ...

Re: Icon for user groups

Hmm... I read the thread and it looks like you needed to fix a lot of things, some bugs even twice.

I was looking for something similiar to the Forum image as forum icon extension since I already use that extension and my forum also have a 2-3 special groups.

Icon for user groups

I know this is an old idea since I searched before posting, but sadly that extension was marked as abandoned 5 years ago. I haven't thought about this before, but I think most people would appreciate to add a specific icon for a user group like moderators - Hammer. Or add an icon for a custom create...

Re: Copying single posts, not only complete topics

It would be a nice feature to be able to copy a single post to another forum and not only a complete thread. I too find it strange of not being able to copy a single post or even merge a post with another post without using an extension . That's something I've thought about for a long time and I wo...

Re: Was just about to submit a post

You are probably talking about the login session. By default, it is good for an hour. Aha.. That may be why some of my users get logged out for some (hitherto unknown) reason while typing a (long) post. (Sorry for "stealing" your post/topic) Question; Is it possible to extend the session?...

Re: help in updating 15 year old site

Hello, I do not have a clue how to update my website. it's over 15 years old. Can anyone recommend a web developer? thanks for any insight. First, I would like to know what kind of a site is yours. If I were you I would stay at PHP 7.4 as Crizzo said and I know phpBB 3.3.2 is working with PHP 7.4 as I use it myself without having any issues.
