Re: Users are not able to edit their own post after mod inst

Hi demonfatal, Unofrtunately, this isn't really the place to get help regarding MODs, as the only person who could do that is the MOD author, simply due to the fact it is extra code, and they are probably the only person who knows it inside and out. I also noticed that the MOD you list is abandoned,...

Re: Windows 8.1 - Will you be upgrading?

I have 8.1 installed mainly because I have to, but I don't boot up into it very often. Windows 8(.1) is great on a tablet, but it's just not for desktop. For most of my work, I just use Linux Mint.

Re: Spamer How to stop them

Hi dmuarry,

Take a look at this link. viewtopic.php?f=46&t=2122696

Bear in mind that spam is not a problem you can completely eradicate, you can only do your best to stop some of it.

Re: Question on website integration

It is more thank likely doable, however to be able to do so you would need to be familiar with both your site and phpBB.

Re: No okay button in Terms of Use & Privacy Policy pop up

Is the ajax box a MOD? If so you would do better if you asked the author or in the MODs thread.

Re: Question on website integration

That's not exactly how phpBB works. Those files are theme files that tells the rest of phpBB how to look.

Re: looking mod that add images in categories

Download & open colours.css , and find this line: background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/gradient.gif"); and replace it with this: background-image: url("image URL here"); Save and reupload the files to your server. You will then need to go to ACP > Styles > Themes and refresh the theme.

Re: looking mod that add images in categories

Hi Thedarkonesc2,

The easiest way to do this would be to edit the theme, and not via a MOD.

That extra bit certainly isn't coming from the phpBB code.
I'd do that to be sure as well. Also, did you download phpBB from this site?

Re: Question on website integration

Hi djogeomancer,

This is possible, yes, in theory all that would be required is for you to edit overall_header.html and overall_footer.html.

Re: Spam in verification email

The image and name you see is actually the name of the person who sent the email, and the picture associated with it. Change the address phpBB sends emails from and this should fix itself.

Re: Problem registering

Hello Hellemans2003,

The first thing you should check is the settings in the ACP. If you log into the Administrator Control Panel and got got General > User Registration Settings, are all the settings how you want them to be?

Personally, I use Sublime Text. I've just started using it, as before I used to use Komodo Edit.
