Re: PHP7 and the preg_replace problem

First time logging in here in a LONG time... So PHP7 disables /e, but Dion fixes this by using eval()? That's what e was standing for all along. Good luck to those environments where this function is disabled. I suggest you run the following command on the phpBB 3.1 (or 3.2) directory: grep -rnw php...

Re: [CONVERT] Forumotion converter

If that's the script you used, make sure to inspect the data. Unless you were exporting less than 25 or so users, something tells me it is not what you expect it to be. ;)

Re: [CONVERT] Forumotion converter

The membership and topic data will be intentionally corrupted if eToxic detects that the scripts from here are being run. You will think the export went smoothly...until you import the data and see that your new phpBB board is worthless. eToxic reads this board. A new script was posted, and not sur...

Re: [Discuss] phpBB 3.1 Ascraeus is upon us

For someone who creates bridges (which I too use from time to time, so props for the work), and thus has a vested interest in getting all the hooks/events in place before release, I don't see much in the way of contributions... or even request for comments on this subject. Either from you or others...

Re: [Discuss] phpBB 3.1 Ascraeus is upon us

o answer the question literally - 100% of mods' functionality *can* be implemented with extension. I call bullshit on this. Every current bridge between phpBB 3.0 and WordPress/Joomla (maybe Drupal too, but who cares about Drupal these days) is impossible to port to 3.1 without core edits. Why? Sev...

You might want to check your countdown timer using Internet Explorer. It ain't counting down, and it ain't gonna count down. ;)

The only solution is to use scripts that eToxic has never seen.

Re: Has anyone use bridgedd pro wordpress plugin ?

Congratulations! You brought me out of my self-imposed hiatus.

BridgeDD PRO is supported on the BridgeDD support site. The free BridgeDD plugin is supported on wordpress.org. Neither are supported here; this site is for support of phpBB and its official styles/MODs.

Re: [CONVERT] Forumotion converter

So let's say this as a fake example (I know it's not exact to what's in terminal but I'm sure you'll get the picture): T1: 2 post downloaded T2: 3 post downloaded T3: 8 posts. etc. Then when it reaches one of the topics Ids this happens T15: 12 posts download T16: 12 posts download T17: 12 posts do...

Re: Remove Bluehost from https://www.phpbb.com/hosting/

That's not a list of best hosts, it's a list of hosts which advertise on phpbb.com. Yes, it is confusing, but one wonders if that was the intent. The page should IMO disappear permanently since it makes the staff here look like hypocrites when they say phpbb.com does not recommend hosting. Speaking ...

Re: May I request a replace Censored words with an image mod

I'm confused. Guests can read the post but not the code changes. How is this different from: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=2158003&p=13476161#p13476161 Hmm, I know how it's different. I'm not a staff or former staff member, for whom the rules oftentimes do not apply. I...

Re: WP-United: phpBB Integration

If you want to fix your width problem, find the CSS rule for #wrap that is setting min-width:960px !important. Remove that rule and the width will be correct.

You mean this person? Interesting rank. :P

I'm also curious how you could compare the code when you are not a member and, at the time, it required registration to see. ;)

The group_user_add() and group_user_del() functions are in includes/functions_user.php. The code is commented. ;)
