Still no word back from the host. As for the cpu throttling, HELLO innoDB! No longer having any issues after converting the tables. Hopefully this will hold us over for a while.

Thanks guys. I will start by opening a ticket with my hosting company and see what they advise. As far as I know, they do not offer any virtual server options, so I hadn't really considered upgrading with them.
