Re: File attachment problem..

Mmmmm... Interesting post. I am following this , in-case it impacts on me :D I have the .zip extension enabled and file size limit set @25 Mb. So far no problems until a user tried to u/l a 12 Mb file, it just hangs. I can replicate this issue, as he sent the file to me and if I try to u/l it I get ...

Re: Orphaned Attachments

I think the reason that your getting the behaviour that your getting is because you have restored the entire database and therefore there is no reference to the attachments in the database. Errr... Isn't that the point of the Orphaned Attachments function, or did I miss something? Having said that,...

Orphaned Attachments

I posted the other day about a problem I had. As a result I did a restore. And as a result of that I lost 3 days of posts. OK, it's a small board, no biggy. But that's not my point. Of the lost posts, most had attached photo's. A user has tried to re-create his "lost" post and tried to u/l his pics....

Re: Help building my site from scratch

I suspect you may be better off using one of the many (just Google it) photo sharing sites. These are tailor made for your demands. phbBB is not, and will require MOD's and much tweaking. As your new to this, making phpBB fit your requirements may be more trouble than it's worth.

Re: OK, what went wrong?

Thank you ;)

I found the file "/forum/language/en/acp/common.php" was corrupt (0 Bytes)

I have restored the file from local bak-up and the issue is resolved. :D

Re: H1 Page Title Tags?

Hi, I can't code PHP but I do code HTML. As per the previous post, if this is just for SEO reasons, then you are wasting your time. Google change their algorithm almost every month. I would advise against this. Leave the "Title" tag alone, it's there for a reason. The BOT looks at the "Title" tag to...

Re: OK, what went wrong?

Sorry, there was a typo on the image URL

I have deleted the cache as suggested, no change.

I don't recall doing anything between pulling all the files down, as a back-up and noticing this error. (Although it seems that I must have done somthing  )

OK, what went wrong?
