Setting a default forum for The Team page

Hi, Is there a way to set up The Team page, so that the moderators listed there show the forum I chose to show for them? At the moment, I've got them all showing one specific forum, except one moderator (who shows a totally different forum). My Team Page.jpg Looking at the drop down, for that partic...

Re: Can I rename the guest account to something else?

Thanks!

I'll look into that.

EDIT: Well I'm pretty sure I changed the right file, but it didn't seem to have any effect. :?

Do I have to do something to "reboot phpBB" if I change any of the php files?

Can I rename the guest account to something else?

I notice that the forum says this on the bottom: "In total there are 1624 users online :: 52 registered, 3 hidden and 1569 guests (based on users active over the past 90 minutes)" Is it possible to change the name of the guest account to something else (like "visitors") and then ...

Re: Is it possible to "absorb" another forum?

Many people have asked about merging but few have succeeded. However, this came to light recently that might be worth a try https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2521566 Thanks KevC. So it looks like this is theoretically possible, but it involves: Getting a vBulletin forum from someone e...

Is it possible to "absorb" another forum?

Hi, I took over the running of a RPG forum that runs on phpBB a while ago. A few days ago, a friend who runs a different RPG forum, said he was thinking of shutting it down, because the activity has reduced. It has been suggested (by a user who has accounts on both our sites) that his forum is merge...

Spamhaus blocklist blocking me from using my own forum

I've been blocked from getting onto my own forum twice recently, and a message has come up that says: Your IP <IP address removed> has been blocked because it is blacklisted. For details please see http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=1<IP address removed>. Screen Shot 2019-05-03 at 18.07.50.jpg The ...

Re: The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.

Thanks for all the help so far (especially the clarification of ".thepiazza.org.uk"). My other admin seems to have cleared the problem, but then it came back. He says that something is messing up the sessions over time. So this is our original problem. It seems we can now reset it with the...

Re: The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.

Actually, you don't need the leading dot in the cookie domain, because you already have two. Remove it and rename the cookie again. Thanks. So just "thepiazza.org.uk" then? I'll do that as soon as I can log in (which I can't right now). Is this something I can change from outside phpBB (b...

Re: The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.

Just rename the cookie in the ACP. Users won't have to delete it from the browser. Thanks. I've tried that. (I tried it before I saw your post, as we had a similar problem in the past.) Sadly it didn't work. (The people who already knew how to zap cookies zapped them, and the other users are all as...

A fix for this can be found on Github and will be included in the 3.2.5 release:

Re: phpBB.com Website Feedback

The Support Request Template Generator needs a tweak, as page four mentions support for two non-supported versions of phpBB:

The bit in brackets "(3.0.x, 3.1.x)" needs to be replaced with a link to the 3.2.x support forum.

Bump.

Any chance of getting some help on making the JavaScript work with the 3.2 parser?
