Re: Unable to login as user to post or admin to access ACP

Well, I now have absolutely no clue what is going on, but I'm actually pretty sure that it is likely that the issue was not related to phpBB! This morning I attempted to log into a different board - one run by vBulletin - and experienced similar issues with non-acceptance of my password. Thinking th...

Re: Unable to login as user to post or admin to access ACP

Thank you for the suggestion. I ran the SQL Query with the following response: Table Op Msg_type Msg_text dbxxxxxxxxx.phpbb_log repair status OK I ran it both on MySQL and on the Support Toolkit (at different times and on the Support Toolkit after finding that running it on the MySQL hadn't made an ...

Unable to login as user to post or admin to access ACP

Update: I have added a user via Support Toolkit to allow replication by people here. There is also a logout issue, details added below. Re: [RC] Facebook For PhpBB Light

Yup. Got all greens - initially I had errors as I had copied files over from the other localhost install (but not the database), but I "uninstalled" and then "installed" and got the go-ahead. Now the only option is to uninstall again.

Re: [RC] Facebook For PhpBB Light

@Eqrepro You will need to enter details from your facebook developer app and set up the facebook settings within the Admin Control panel. Facebook For PhpBB Light admin tab. That had been done prior to the above post and the resulting images represented. I also just checked to make sure that they a...

Re: [RC] Facebook For PhpBB Light

OK... I set up a dummy board on my remote site and ran the install script again. I now have a Facebook control panel page in my UCP, but no FB login link or button is present on the main (or any other) page on either FF or Chrome - perhaps I am misunderstanding the function, and please correct me if...

Re: [RC] Facebook For PhpBB Light

We have a mirror copy of our "live" board on a localhost computer, which we like to run new mods on before taking them live for obvious reasons. We have loaded this mod onto the localhost version (which has internet access), and have applied our "live board" FB App ID and App Secret numbers into the...

Re: Board online works, but downloaded to localhost can't lo

PLEASE SEE EDIT BELOW - ISSUE RESOLVED!! No... I had presumed seeing as I had it working on my previous download that it wouldn't need anything other than the database name and password settings needing changing... Where do I have to go to change the cookie and server settings? (That would be...

Board online works, but downloaded to localhost can't login

I downloaded my files and DB from my online BB to my own computer where I run Apache. I changed the config file to the correct login settings. The board appears perfectly OK on my computer, but I cannot login. It accepts the username and password, the next screen claims the login was successful, the...

Re: "The page at ...... says"

If it only occured after installing the Live Preview MOD Unfortunately, although I got the general impression that it might have been related to that MOD, as I was just setting up the board and therefore loading MODs to get it running, I cannot honestly say with certainty that it was immediately af...

Re: "The page at ...... says"

A useful thought, and still a possibility, but I do get something similar in FF (not as fancy a pop-up box, less information contained within - just a button - and it only appears once). However, I have minimal extensions loaded in Chrome, and not AutoPager (unless it's included in the base browser ...

"The page at ...... says"

My apologies if this has been covered before - I did a search, but the terms are somewhat generic and didn't return a solution. I am running 3.0.10. - recently installed and running about a week. The board is hosted on our own domain. All seems to be functioning fine, with the following exception. I...
