Re: permissions on the moderation queue for new topics only

This is for approving new topics only, without having to approve all responses. As mentioned in the first post, it was asked by a user.

Is it possible to enable the queue for moderation (in group forum permissions), only for new topics? Then leave the following posts free.

Re: Separate configuration for information about editing posts and private messages

You are right, but the user would receive an email notification of a non-existent pm.

Re: separate edit information of posts and private messages

In phpBB 3.3.9 (but also in phpBB 3.2.x) there is only one setting, which controls the display of change notifications, for posts and pms acp edited.png post edited.png PM edited.png I think I might want to show post edited notifications, but at the same time, not show PM edited notifications (of co...

Re: Accounts hackered?!

Exactly. I did too. I initially banned the user, but when I figured out what happened, I re-enabled him and changed the password. on his return he can re-enter by changing the password.

Separate configuration for information about editing posts and private messages

Re: All passwords are wrong after downgrading php

Crizzo wrote: Thu Nov 10, 2022 9:01 am ......

Bcrypt vs. Argon2i(d), the argon was introduced with 7.2 and 7.3, but is optional. So your other server seems to have it in 7.4, the current one only in 8.0 or higher.
I confirm Crizzo's theory.
Asked host to add argon2id to php 7.4 and now it works.
Problem solved. Thanks

Re: All passwords are wrong after downgrading php

I tried to move databases and forums to other server with php 7.4.27, everything works fine.
The problem I believe lies in the server, perhaps at the cache level. A ticket has now been opened to the host

All passwords are wrong after downgrading php

Hi guys. A user reports to me, that on his forum (phpBB 3.3.8) after downgrading from php 8.0.25 to php 7.4.32, all passwords are incorrect. If it goes back to php 8, everything works again. I thought it might be a different hash password, but on my forum, I tried switching to php 8 and back to php ...
