Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

Thanks for this MOD it's great and works very well. Just a quick thing, the posts are formatted fine, but when I click edit on a post submitted from a form, the formatting is lost. This includes the bold and italic text, the spacing, and the bullet points. Any way to correct this? Thank you. Yeah, ...

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

I've added a list of "Planned Features" to the OP, so if you've requested something, please check there to make sure that 1) it's there and 2) it's described how you've envisioned it (or if not exactly the same, at least it will work for your needs). The only thing I purposefully left out for now is...

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

Sorry for being away from this so long. It's been a long, busy couple months for me with a new job I got on October 15th. I had been doing hobby development, because my real development job was not fulfilling enough and with little actual development at work, I was able to do this kind of stuff in m...

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

Right now there's no way to do that dynamically, but it would be on... form.php replace: $body .= '[list]'; $fldRes = $_POST['field'.$fd['field']]; if (!is_array($fldRes)) { $fldRes = array_fill(0, 1, $fldRes); } foreach ($fldRes as $a) { $body .= '[*]' . $a; } $body .= '[/list]' . "\n"; with: $fldR...

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

Ok, I uploaded the newer version which should install without errors and fix some of the issues. You may have to follow the install.xml file again and do the line-by-line changes. I see what you meant by the Forms link not showing up, so I fixed that too. And I think I made submitting the field a li...

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

I know. Sorry for the confusion. I was elaborating on my previous reply to Senky's suggestion since something you said made me think of it.

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

Yeah I understand what you're saying. Also, to elaborate on my previous post, if the form is already a topic-based form (it appends posts to a sticky topic), the option will not be a dropdown showing the forms to pick from. In that case it would just be a checkbox to say whether or not the form woul...

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

Oh I see. Yeah, that makes a lot more sense than what I thought you were saying. I don't see why not. Certainly something to look into as an addition after I get the basic functionality ironed out. I don't know about using BBCode to embed it in the post. I think that could get messy and it would be ...

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

that fixed it, thanks one more thing (for now)... when I go to the forms list, the tab reads "ACP_FORMS". also, the link won't appear in the header, even though I have the edit and have the mod enabled. --REMOVED-- Just gonna have to have it submitted by PM instead I went to your site, and I see th...

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

I'm sorry, I really thought the new version had an updated install file. Here is the one that should work, I'll be updating the install package tonight after work. custom_forms_install.php: <?php /** * * @author evshell18 (Evan Kaiser) evshell18@gmail.com * @version $Id$ * @copyright (c) 2012 Evan K...

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

Hmm... what is the result if you run this SQL? SELECT module_auth FROM `phpbb_modules` WHERE module_langname='ACP_FORMS_BUILDER'; [Edit] OK, I think I figured it out. I'll post another version tomorrow morning, but the fix is to change 'acl_a_custom_form' to 'acl_a_custom_forms' on line 24 of includ...

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

Oh, sorry, I forgot. Try doing an uninstall and then install again. It needs to remove and recreate the module reference in the database.

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

Make sure you update includes/acp/info/acp_forms.php and then purge your cache. That was part of the 1.0.1 fix.

[Edit] You also might have to run Update on custom_forms_install.php. Not sure if the versions #s have to be synced for it to show.

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

Yep, that would do it. Found out that array dereferencing was added in PHP 5.4. Latest download should fix that one.

Re: [BETA] Customizable Forms

What version of PHP are you running? I may need to modify it to not use some newer code syntax.
